2025 Betfred Challenge Cup

Follow along with draws, fixtures and results for the 2025 Challenge Cup as information comes to hand.

The draw for the men's first and second rounds was made on December 2 at Goole Vikings.

The draw for the men's third round, as well as the women's group stage, will be made on January 14 at Betfred headquarters.

  • The First Round is contested by 34 UK community-based teams (17 matches)
  • 11 League One and 12 of the 13 Championship teams enter at the Second Round (20 matches)
  • All 12 Super League clubs join at the Third Round (16 matches)
  • Fourth Round sees the tournament whittled down to 8 matches
  • From here, a traditional knock-out ensues, the Quarter and Semi Finals taking place before the Final at Wembley.
  • NOTE: each round is subject to a draw process to determine opponents and home teams.

The earlier entry of Super League clubs will ensure community-based clubs have a greater chance of hosting a Super League club, in turn providing greater financial opportunities.

All times listed are UK local time (GMT til end March, BST thereafter)
