Hull FC were 26-12 winners against Leigh Leopards down at Leigh Sports Village on Thursday night.
The visitors bounced back from last week's defeat to continue their charge towards the Super League top four.
It was a superb solo effort from Cade Cust that got Hull FC on the board. He stepped past several defenders and scored against his old side.
Next, Hull FC went for the power route. Will Pryce cut open the defence then next tackle Herman Ese'ese charged over for 12-0.
Once again, Pryce was central to the Hull FC attack. He sliced through again then fed Lewis Martin for the try after an earlier penalty goal from Aiden Sezer.
Hull FC put an exclamation mark on a first half rampage with another try. Sezer went through then laid on the score for Sam Eseh under the sticks for 26-0.
Leigh gave their home fans something to cheer on the hour mark. Some good footwork from Edwin Ipape saw him get on the scoresheet.
Owen Trout further cut into the Hull FC lead after he crossed for Leigh Leopards but they were unable to whittle away any further.
It was a game where all 38 points were scored at one end which gave those at the southern end a sore neck watching the screen.

Warrington responded with a wonderful short jab of their own. It put Dan Russell into space and the forward gave the Wolves the lead.
Hull KR were quickest to the bouncing ball to snatch back the lead. Tyrone May unfurled the pass for Tom Davies.

Quick hands from the Saints got them underway which ended with Tristan Sailor diving over in the right corner.
He repeated the trick again five minutes later. Saints had a scrum move which saw him on the wing and bag an early double.
Their next score came from the boot. Jonny Lomax punched a kick through and Curtis Sironen was collected on his chase which saw Taane Milne binned.
It felt like déjà vu when Lomax and Sironen combined again in the next set for the latter to touch down for 16-0.
Saints were in full flow and stretched the field. Another kick went through and Jack Welsby pounced on it.
It didn't go all the Saints way in the first half. Alex Warmsley was binned for repeated infringements.

The result has moved the Rhinos into third spot on the Super League ladder bouncing back from their loss last week.
There was an early flashpoint which saw Castleford reduced to twelve. Liam Horne tripped Kyle Connor after he caught the ball in goal and was binned.
Rhinos were kept off the scoresheet during that period but Connor did provide the first four-pointer.
He provided a subtle pass for a rampaging Sam Lisone who steamed to the line to give the visitors the lead.
Conner extended the Rhinos lead to seven just before half-time. He drilled a field goal for a 7-0 lead at the break.
The Tigers started the second half with a bang. Alex Mellor bumped off a defender to open them up then fed Louis Senior for a try.
Leeds went further ahead from the boot. Brodie Croft punched a kick low that Senior fumbled and Harry Newman scooped up the easy score.
They continued to profit from the boot. Croft used the grubber again and it bounced perfectly for Ryan Hall to touch down.
Next, Connor went to the boot to make it 23-6. It fell to a Rhinos hand then swept out for Newman to complete his double.
Lisone rounded the game off also grabbing a double. The kick was batted back from Lachlan Miller into the forwards hands.

Wigan Warriors thumped Catalans Dragons 48-0 in their game at Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors maintain their fine form with their seventh straight win and remain on the heels of leaders Hull KR.
They got off the mark from a scrum play. They fed it wide and Jai Field burnt the defense to stroll to the line.
Wigan attacked again from their own end. They went through the hands again before Liam Marshall sent Sam Walters over.
Next, they attacked with their defense. A looping pass was snatched up by Marshall and he stretched out to touch down for 20-0 at the break.
Wigan kept their foot on the throat in the second half. They kept the ball alive as Jake Wardle sliced through then popped it up for Kruise Leeming to score.
It was one-way traffic as the reigning champions were in full flow. A nice short pass saw Junior Nsemba slam it down.
Marshall was the only Warrior to bag a double. He was on the end of a superb cut-out pass to walk over for 36-0.
Usually it isn't a Wigan Warriors game until Bevan French scores. He finished off another long break to get on the scoreboard.
Harry Smith put the exclamation mark on the Warriors performance. Field bumped off defenders then it was sent wide and Harry Smith was trailing to get the four-pointer.
