No further late changes to the South Sydney side than what was announced with Lewis Dodd being the 18th man; Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has elected to move Stefano Utoikamanu and Trent Loiero to the bench after playing in Origin 2. That sees Tui Kamikamica starting in the front row and Nelson Asofa-Solomona at lock. One other change sees Alec McDonald come onto the bench whilst Bronson Garlick drops to 18th man.
