Penrith have defended exceptionally here but Corey Harawera Naera is ruled to have dropped the bomb and the Titans get another set on Penrith's line.

Penrith have now conceded three straight penalties on their own line - they need to be more disciplined here or the Titans could strike back late.

Corey Harawera Naera flies above to take the short kick-off and races away before being taken over halfway. Plenty of metres from Penrith in this set with Dean Whare kicking and forcing the Gold Coast to make their way out of their own end. A small glimmer of hope opens for the away side after Penrith drop it bringing the ball back mid-count.

Penrith earn a penalty now after the Gold Coast defenders held on in the tackle too long. Penrith are just 30 out. Viliame Kikau and Moses Leota take the first charges before Tyrone Peachey takes on the line but the pass is knocked down by Jarrod Wallace. The five-eighth is looking very dangerous.

A MASSIVE RUN by James Tamou takes Penrith past the 20 before James Fisher-Harris and Peter Wallace surge into the Gold Coast half. Tyrone Peachey screams through but can't link with his teammates and is taken 10 out. A terrible pass out of dummy half puts James Maloney under immediate pressure. He chips and bats the ball back brilliantly himself but no Panthers are there to take it! Gold Coast regain possession and the kick on the last trickles into touch 20 out.

A nicely timed offload sees Michael Gordon race away but Penrith scramble well to take him 30 out. Anthony Don flies on the last to take the bomb but drops it and knees Josh Mansour in the face in the process. He will come from the field.

Ashley Taylor is back on the field and bombs high for Dylan Edwards who does well to take it. Bad news for Nathan Peats, however, who is out for the rest of the match.

The Titans spread right but Ashley Taylor pass goes to Josh Mansour who dives on it to save the day. Great metres now from Dylan Edwards who takes the home side up towards halfway. James Maloney kicks early and Phillip Sami is trapped 10 out.

Penrith go through the middle and James Maloney bursts through but can't handle it! The Titans steam up field and Michael Gordon earns a penalty for interference in the play the ball. Gold Coast 10 out.

Gold Coast earn a penalty for offside and kick off their set 20 out from the Penrith line. Jai Arrow and Jack Stockwell make determined runs but are denied by strong defence. A left-hand raid on the last sees Phillip Sami grubber for himself and Christian Crichton fumbles it but fortunately Penrith receive a penalty.

The Panthers are looking very dangerous making strong metres as Viliame Kikau almost breaks through the line but he has dropped the ball in the tackle of Konrad Hurrell. Kikau is being treated now for a potential injury.

Nathan Peats is coming off with a possible arm injury.

Moses Leota is into the contest and draws a penalty off his first touch. Maloney kicks for the sideline and Penrith kick off their set 30 out from the Titans' line. Can they finally score some points?

A very strong run by Isaah Yeo takes the Panthers towards halfway before Peachey darts to the 40 metre mark. James Maloney bombs high but Phillip Sami does very well to take it in the breeze.

The Titans work their way into Penrith's half before a clearing grubber by Ashley Taylor takes the ball out 15 shy of the Panthers' line.

They create an overlap on the left edge but the pass by Dylan Edwards flies over the touch line. Gold Coast survive! Great defence.

Penrith are looking a bit disjointed in attack but get lucky again with Maloney putting in a poor grubber that is fumbled by Jarrod Wallace. Penrith with another set 10 out.

Viliame Kikau makes some strong runs during the set and now spectacularly offloads straight to Anthony Don on the line but the winger is ruled offside and Penrith grab another set. They need to convert it into points.

The Gold Coast are making great metres through the middle but James Maloney comes up with a massive hit to halt a right side raid by the away side. A scrappy last tackle option ends in the arms of Tyrone Peachey and now Penrith earn a penalty and begin their set 40 out from the Titans' line.

Peachey comes up with another terrible option, with his bomb being caught in the Titans' in-goal area. Maloney will really need to step up because the soon to be Titan is not comfortable in the 5/8th position.

Jarrod Wallace takes the first charge before Jai Arrow powers past halfway. Great pressure from Reagan Campbell-Gillard forces an error from Ashley Taylor on the last. Penrith now earn a penalty and Maloney kicks it down to the Titan's 30. Tyrone Peachey has a rush of blood and kicks early straight to the Titans - terrible choice.

A strong set from the Titans ends with Kane Elgey bombing high but Christian Crichton does well to take it before steaming towards the 30.
