Tom Trbojevic again goes left and links with Kelly, who this time drops the ball cold. Hunt cleans up and runs up to halfway before passing infield, which is taken by Manly.
Widdop misses another sideline conversion.
Hunt kicks to the left side, Tariq Sims taps it back and Macdonald cleans up the loose ball and then scores in the corner.
SCRUM DRAGONS - Tom trbojevic finds space on the left side and throws a forward pass over the top to Kelly, who knocked on for good measure.
PENALTY MANLY - Dragons holding down too long. DCE takes the quick touch finder and Manly will start their set 35m from the Dragons line.

Kelly again has a crack at scoring out wide and again he gets taken into touch.
PENALTY DRAGONS - Fonua-Blake looked set to score but it was denied after Thompson was found to have obstructed Frizell. Hunt's kick for touch doesn't go out and Manly start the set from halfway.
SCRUM MANLY - Nightingale drops a regulation pass, 10m from his own line.
Kelly gets a great ball and very nearly scores, but the defence hold him up and barrel him into touch.

Manly let the Widdop bomb bounce and Lafai gets the bounce but it's immediately knocked out of his hands by Uate.
Widdop adds the extras from near in front.
Graham surges towards the line and manages to eventually plant the ball down for a try.
Manly players standing around throwing passes and going nowhere, Kelly decides to run and drops the ball. De Belin cleans up and runs 50m before being brought down.
A repeat set for Manly, but they are still unable to find a way through the Dragons line. DCE puts in a grubber, which Hunt cleans up, but he cannoit get back into the field of play.

Some halftime history: When these sides first met in Round 26, 1999, it was at WIN Stadium and the Dragons lead 16-8 at halftime. They went on to win 20-18. Also, both of today's coaches were playing for the Dragons

Hunt's kick sits up and is very nearly pounced on at the death by Widdop, however Taufua taps it dead just in the nick of time.

Wright gets the ball at second receiver, dummies behind him, flies through the line past Widdop and then steps inside Dufty to score a beautiful solo try.
PENALTY MANLY - McInness gives another away. Manly now move just inside the Dragons half.
Widdop from the left sideline and he is unsuccessful, well according to one touchie and there anyways.
Lafai from dummy half, shaped to pass right, ran left, stepped the second marker and then reached out to score a great solo try.
Hunt grubbers for himself and forces a drop out.

Dragons swing the ball quickly from the left wing to the right. Dufty steps inside the defence and passes to Mann who scores in the corner.
Hunt runs it on the last and spreads the ball left. Macdonald puts in a kick that is charged down by Manly and regathered by Aitken. Dragons get a fresh set.
Great Dragons defence has hemmed Manly inside their 30m area. DCE gets a huge kick away to relieve some pressure.

DCE Runs it on the last from inside his own half and finds Winterstein who stepped infield and ran 30m downfield, passed to Tom Trbojevic, who threw a quick pass which was intercepted by Frizell

Taufua loses the ball in a 1-on-1 strip by Widdop just 10m from his own line.
Lafai tried to catch Suli napping out wide there. No luck.
