Kiwis right on the attack! Honey Hireme found some space and is wrangled by Baker! As the hooter sounds, the Ferns attempt a kick behind but it beats everyone across the whitewash. HALFTIME.

Brigginshaw goes short this time, on last, Wheeler is seemingly gobbled up but she attempts a kick that lands with Baker, who eventually loses it.

Kezie Apps is the latest to be on the turf. Strong run from the forward, she slipped through the line but bent backwards in the tackle from Mariu, and needs some assistance.

PENALTY JILLAROOS! Tough run from Keeley Davis as she bounces off defenders, then is clipped high. One last chance in this half for the visitors now.

Kiwis again try to get some early ball to Hireme. The last pass is sloppy, and the Aussies take over near halfway.

Oh dear, that doesn't look good. Kiwis in good attacking position, they shift to Nati, the half just falls over without a touch. She will need to be substituted this time. A generous round of applause from the crowd as she exits as well.

Nati is eventually up, strapped and will run this off! Australia ball on the ten.

The introduction of Hale has re-energised the Ferns. They rolled downfield in that set, Nati stabbed a kick that Robinson, again snaffles well. We have time off with the kicker, Nati down with a knee injury.

Nati tumbles a wonderful kick, catching Robinson inside the field of play. The winger, only in her fourth month of rugby league, skipped outside several tackles before getting to the 20. Jillaroos back on the front foot but they lose their way on last.

Temara linked well with Southwell, the centre tried to find Brown on the wing, but the pass is behind her and it rolls into touch. Probably the best starting position for the Ferns this half!

Superb work down the left from Honey Hireme! Took her defender on head on, palmed her away, streaking away and flung it inside but the play is called back. Hireme is deemed to have touched the whitewash, replays show there may be some light between her foot and the line. Anyways, Aussies with it.

Lovely kick out of trouble from the Ferns. They have the rare chance to make the Jillaroos to work it from their own end.

SIX MORE bellows the referee. Chelsea Baker has her bones rattled, as the Aussies shift to Southwell again, whose catch is knocked down. On the restart, the Aussies go left.. and spill it. Kiwis now to ruck it out.

Jillaroos try to go the power route this set - both props in Ballinger and Taufa sneak their way close to the line. On last, they swung it to the replacement Southwell whose covered.

Nothing going right for the Kiwis. Langi Veainu tries to get them going on the front foot, gets up quickly but forgot the ball! Aussies right back on the attack. They've been camped on the Kiwi line.
