Brisbane rush up on Luke Keary and force the error.

Roosters 20 out as Darius Boyd is forced to take the ball over the sideline as Latrell Mitchell steams onto a kick.

Anthony Milford sprints down the touchline, picking up 20 metres and Brisbane are in Roosters' territory. They're 10 out on the fourth, Kodi Nikorima with a nice grubber but absolutely no one is chasing. It goes dead.

Brisbane now with all the running and they are just 10 out - Darius Boyd floats a very long ball to Corey Oates but it is too big. Handover.

Darius Boyd through the middle and he kicks back inside for Anthony Milford but James Tedesco does very well to get back in time and ground the ball. Tedesco has been very impressive in defence and cover tonight.

The opportunity is squandered though, Tevita Pangai offloads it straight to the Roosters. Patience needed there, still 27 minutes left.

Now the Roosters are caught with no marker and Brisbane have it back. Cooper Cronk off now too and he will likely be rested.

A better defensive set from Brisbane - Luke Keary to kick from just over his own 30 and Jamayne Isaako brings it up to his own 40. They're starting to get back into the grind but the scoreline is obviously against them at this point.

Luke Keary now clears it up towards Corey Oates' wing but he is under the ball and brings it up towards the 20. Jack Bird and Kodi Nikorima help out their big men with solid runs, Jamayne Isaako does likewise. Anthony Milford kicks early on the fourth and James Tedesco brings the ball up to the five-metre mark - great chase Alex Glenn and Bird.

Kotoni Staggs over the 40 before Jaydn Su'a straightens things up. They shift left, Anthony Milford shows and goes, taken 25 out. Tevita Pangai then charges up to the 10 but a forward pass brings it undone as the Roosters regain possesion.

HALF TIME - Brisbane held on valiantly in the middle but they are down 22-0 after a late surge from the home side.

Oh dear... Anthony Milford with a perfectly weighted grubber kick and it sits up for Jack Bird who drops it cold.

The Roosters with a late error as they push the pass - Latrell Mitchell coming up with the mistake inside his own 40. Brisbane with a good chance to hit back.

Corey Oates drops the ball now and the Roosters get it right back 30 out.

Roosters threatening again but Luke Keary spills the ball as he takes the line on. Brisbane doing well to only be 12 down.

Latrell Mitchell looks to barge his way over but is pulled up just short and tries to offload the ball late for Daniel Tupou but Jamayne Isaako dives on it and Brisbane survive.

Anthony Milford drills it on the last straight to Matt Ikuvalu who is taken on the 20. Broncos really need to step up in defence here if they want to regain some ascendancy here but instead Jamayne Isaako has fumbled the last-tackle bomb and the Roosters are just shy of the Brisbane line.

The Sydney Roosters are without Jared Waerea-Hargreaves. Zane Tetevano will start up front and Nat Butcher comes onto the bench. Mitchell Aubusson is also back to the bench, with Angus Crichton into the second row. Cooper Cronk is confirmed to return after missing two weeks.

Round 4 begins at the Sydney Cricket Ground tonight, as the Sydney Roosters aim to nab their third victory of the year. They are playing the Brisbane Broncos, who were pipped by one point last week.
