Very overcast in the early stages at Mt Smart as Penrith get the first real look at attacking footy for either side. A last-tackle grubber does little from the Panthers and the Warriors come off their line with possession.

Penrith trot out, they're wearing their black home jersey with the Warriors' heritage jersey being mostly white. Down the tunnel come the home side and we're just about ready.
There's not much in the way of late mail - the Warriors are 1-17 and Penrith have just one change, Hame Sele making way on the bench for Dean Whare who returns from injury.
It's heritage day in Auckland with the Warriors wearing a jersey to honour the local area's long history with rugby league. Penrith come to town after the Warriors raided their home ground barely more than a month ago, and will be keen to turn that result around after going on a winning run since.
