FULL TIME - Souths hold on at the end and win 22-20 in a thriller.

Tempers flare late here. Both sides coming together. One second on the clock with time stopped.

Darius Boyd back inside to Corey Oates who barges up towards the line but Damien Cook takes him down with the line begging. Brisbane can't break through and that should be it.

Jamayne Isaako bursts down the right touchline and is away! He is pulled up just 10 out. Brisbane throw it around on the last but Matt Lodge ends with it and is tackled. Souths ball on their own 10.

Six again Broncos. They are 20 out.

Tevita Tatola drops it. Broncos with the field position they need, starting the new set on their own 30.

To halfway on the last, Anthony Milford puts it into the air and hopes but Campbell Graham has it, bringing the ball up to the 30.

Corey Oates with it back now as Brisbane work it out deep inside their own half. They need to score very soon to be any hope here.

Sean O'Sullivan kicks on the last, towards Adam Doueihi who has it and takes the ball up towards the 30.

Brisbane scramble well and get it back.

Six again for the Bunnies after they spread it right and the ball is played at by Corey Oates. Rabbitohs still 10 out.

Penalty Broncos.

Brisbane get it back off the restart and Sean O'Sullivan almost scores but is wrapped up five short. Big chance here to hit back.

Meanwhile, James Roberts has raced away after a contentious pick-up. Souths now grab a penalty as Jaydn Su' A returns. They shoot for two.

Adam Reynolds back up as Brisbane go on the attack. They go right and turn it inside to Jamayne Isaako who puts it down.

Anthony Milford with the grubber and it is played at by Souths. Six-again. Time stopped though with Adam Reynolds down.

Souths turn it over and Kotoni Staggs has it for Brisbane on the 30.

Anthony Milford with an awkward bomb and Corey Oates takes it! He passes late to Darius Boyd who is certain to score but Campbell Graham comes up with a massive try-saver.

Souths again doing well so far with one man down, defending well and not looking too troubled.

Adam Doueihi forced in-goal. Brisbane with a great opportunity to hit the lead for the first time tonight.

Adam Reynolds puts it down and Brisbane get it back on their own 10.

Mark Nicholls nabs a penalty, a relieving one at that, Souths kick their way out of their own end. Finding touch just over halfway.

Adam Doueihi flicks on the last and Kotoni Staggs has it for Brisbane and breaks down the right edge before being dragged down 40 out. They spread it left now but Corey Oates is taken into touch by Corey Allan.

Anthony Milford, who has done much of the kicking tonight again for Brisbane, sends it into the air for Adam Doueihi who is under it again taking it comfortably.

Nice set after points from Souths. Cody Walker with a well-weighted kick to Anthony Milford who has it on the 10-metre mark.

HALF TIME - Souths and Brisbane head to the sheds after an entertaining first forty. 8-6 to the Rabbitohs at the break.

Corey Oates over again on the sideline after quick passes from Darius Boyd and David Fifita but Oates goes into touch.

Damien Cook with an error. Momentum in Brisbane's favour now and they're 40 out.

David Fifita through again on the last and he tries to kick ahead but Adam Doueihi does well to take it on the fly.

Charge down and Darius Boyd luckily is in a chase against Mark Nicholls and is able to get it and run out towards the 20.

The grubber from Souths bobbles around and Thomas Flegler dives on it. Broncos right on their own line bringing it up. Souths looking the stronger at the moment.

Anthony Milford with a towering kick on the last for Adam Doueihi who takes it well. James Roberts finds space and flies through the line, weaving his way through and offloading for Corey Allan who nabs a penalty. Souths 10 out.

Adam Reynolds puts it into the air and Anthony Milford takes it and is forced in-goal. Power set after points from the Rabbitohs. They are really benefitting from Damien Cook finding space through the middle.

Joe Ofahengaue drops it and Souths survive the sin-bin with James Roberts due back any minute.

Cody Walker with a great tackle pressuring Sean O'Sullivan. Broncos 10 out, they force a dropout but Souths are doing well to hold them out.

Payne Haas - he splits them right through the middle and that is exactly what Brisbane needed. They go left and may have an overlap here but Darius Boyd holds onto it. Handover. Souths just survive.

Great set after points from Souths. John Sutton with a nice kick that traps Jamayne Isaako just short of his own line. Brisbane stuck inside their own 10 for the opening three tackles.

Interference in the play the ball and a penalty for Souths close to the line. They'll shoot for two.

Souths get a six-again call go their way and they are just 30 out now.

Brisbane drop it shortly after though as Souths survive.

Corey Oates goes over in the corner but the video officials review it and he drops the ball. Drama to come though as James Roberts drives a late elbow to the head on the floor and he is binned.

Andrew McCullough with a clearing kick from deep inside his own half and Adam Doueihi can't pick it up cleanly. Broncos 10 out.

Adam Doueihi with a dangerous step back inside, he's just tackled and Souths are 10 out. Damien Cook forward out of dummy-half to Cody Walker who links with John Sutton. Walker then scoops up the late offload to score but the forward pass remains and a turnover is ruled.

Souths not getting the same success through the middle but they get a relieving penalty regardless.

Adam Reynolds completes the set for Souths now as he kicks it high but Jamayne Isaako goes above to take it for the home side. Brisbane making good metres through the middle - 40 out on the last - Sean O'Sullivan with the kick on the last and Campbell Graham has it.

Joe Ofahengaue with a surging run. Broncos 20 out. Play it quickly, Sean O'Sullivan takes on the line, taken 10 shy. Anthony Milford shows and goes, he's held close to the line too. Darius Boyd then tries to find Corey Oates but it sprays into touch.

Brisbane with the first penalty of the night and they'll have a good shot at the South Sydney line.

Potential overlap on the right edge but Adam Reynolds doesn't take the risk and holds onto it, crunched on the 40. Souths go left now and John Sutton is taken 40 out from the Brisbane line. Cody Walker with another dangerous kick that just spins into touch. Broncos scrum fee 10 out.

Matt Gillett with a great run and Brisbane are in the Souths half. Payne Haas then up to the 30. They spread it right and Gillett is tackled 20 shy of the line. Adam Doueihi under the kick on the last, beats some tackles and is tackled on the 30.

Cody Walker kicks from inside the 20 - it sits up perfectly but just goes dead at the end. Seven-tackle set Broncos.
