This is the first meeting between the two sides this season. The previous meeting was Round 14, 2018 with the Sharks recovering from an early deficit to win 24-16 at home.
Both teams can qualify for the finals should a draw take place. With both sides boasting superior for-and-against differentials than the eighth-placed Broncos, a draw would see the Tigers and Sharks move up to 25 competition points.
The winner of the match will face the Sea Eagles at Lottoland in an elimination final - most likely next Saturday evening.
