FULL TIME at Central Coast Stadium and the Cronulla Sharks have gotten their third win of the season with a comfortable 40-22 win over Manly. Manly grabbed a couple of late consolation tries to make the scoreline a little more respectable, however they will need to adapt better without Tom Trbojevic as their attack looked broken in this one.
Garrick is unsuccessful from the sideline and the scoreline remains 40-22 Cronulla's way.
Cherry-Evans gets a terrific pass away, putting Funa away down the right sideline to score late.
PENALTY MANLY. A strip sees Manly with another chance late in the game.
Manly find touch kicking the drop out and will get the ball back.
Hamlin-Uele is held up over the line, but the Sharks are building more pressure.
Garrick slots it quickly again and the scoreline now reads 40-18 in favour of Cronulla.
A terrific offload from Curtis Sironen just before his elbow hit the ground finds Fonua-Blake who dives over for an unlikely double.

Hunt puts the ball down coming back from the kick off after points.
Johnson kicks another one and brings up 40 points for the Sharks. 40-12 in favour of Cronulla.
Brailey gets the easiest of tries as the ball presents itself in front of him over the goal line and he grounds it with no issues.
Sironen puts the ball down on the first tackle and undoes any pressure they were mounting.
Manly will get another set after Cherry-Evans forces a goal line dropout.
Garrick makes no mistake taking a quick conversion and the score is now 34-12 to Cronulla.
Fonua-Blake backs up a break from Jake Trbojevic and scores close to the sticks.
Johnson slots it over the black dot from the sideline and the scoreboard changes. 34-6 to Cronulla.
Katoa grabs a double as he dives over in the corner. The scoreline starts to blow out now at 32-6 in favour of Cronulla.
Johnson has his first unsuccessful attempt of the afternoon and the score remains 28-6 in favour of the Sharks.
Goodwin scores after a great ball from Johnson over the top finds him waiting.
PENALTY SHARKS. Manly had a chance to gain some ascendency, however they were too keen and jumped the gun trying to trap the Sharks deep in their own territory.
Manly get the ball after a pass hit the deck and Townsend couldn't handle it.
Johnson makes no mistake and makes the score 24-6, putting Cronulla in a great position to win this one.
A dream start to the second half for Cronulla as Dugan latches onto a kick to score and make the scores 22-6 in favour of the Sharks.

HALF TIME at Central Coast Stadium and the Cronulla Sharks lead the Manly Sea Eagles 18-6. A fantastic half of footy from Cronulla sees them deservedly in front. However, Manly seem to be lacking cohesion and understanding in their attack and they could struggle to post enough points in the second half to run down Cronulla.
Johnson keeps his perfect record this afternoon intact and kicks the scoreline out to 18-6 on the stroke of half-time.
Ramien runs a great line and hits the hole to go over almost untouched. Score is now 16-6 in favour of Cronulla.
Sironen can't hold the ball as Cherry-Evans throws him a pass that set him up for some heavy contact.
Johnson bends the kick back well in the wind and kicks the goal to extend Cronulla's lead to 12-6.
A nice kick by Shaun Johnson sees Katoa get over in the corner after he scored 3 last week as well.
PENALTY SHARKS. Dugan gets tangled in the play the ball and pushed back into the ruck by Cherry-Evans, causing a penalty to go to the defending side.
Garrick hits the goal from in front to level the scores at 6-6.

A last play option that was never really on sees Moylan put the ball down as rain begins to come down harshly.
A one-on-one strip from Chad Townsend sees Cronulla with a good opportunity to perhaps answer straight back with points of their own.

An error from a kick close to the line means Manly have a serious chance coming up.

Croker puts it down on the last and Manly release their built pressure again.
Williams loses the ball in the play-the-ball and the pressure is back on Cronulla.
Manly's flurry of set restarts is to no avail after a poor kick from Cherry-Evans eases pressure.
