In bizarre events, a Lachlan Lewis kick ricochet of Cameron McInnes head saw the Bulldogs have to scurry to recover the football who were then tackled just 20 metres out from their own line on the last tackle, giving the Dragons a good chance to take the lead.
Zac Lomax converts the try from just left of the upright to bring the scores to level with just six minutes remaining in this contest.
Dufty gets his second of the afternoon thanks to a good line break from Adam Clune who took advantage of some weak defence from the Bulldogs. Clune then drew Meaney in and passed to the supporting Dufty who crossed over untouched.
A poor chip kick from Lachlan Lewis was caught in the in goal by Corey Norman and just one tackle later Lewis gave away a penalty for a high tackle, not a great 30 seconds there for Lachlan Lewis.
Lomax drilled it over from just left of the upright to bring the Dragons within a converted try of the Bulldogs lead.
A bad attempt at a catch from a bomb there by Cristian Crichton who drops it onto his boot with the ball finding its way to Jason Saab who runs over pretty much untouched to potentially bring the Dragons back within a single try.

Jason Saab cost the Dragons a try by knocking on a grubber kick from Ben Hunt. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak did great defensively there to apply pressure to Saab as he was attempting to grab the football
