That was a misjointed set from the Warriors but it ended well. RTS again takes the kick and trapped Tommy Talau this time.

PENALTY TIGERS! Doueihi strides through some flimsy defense which gave Benji Marshall the chance to hit a running Garner. They went left but Mbye is clobbered. Offside.

Some nice link work from the Warriors almost got Hiku free on the left but his pass to George Jennings is complete then the loaned winger tossed it right to Benji Marshall. Tigers also get a SET RESTART early in the count.
Mbye lines up to convert his own four-pointer. The back takes his time, ruminates and nails the post.
Tigers strike first! Leilua poked nose through, offloads to Mbye to stroll across.
Put that down to Harry Grant! The loanee kicked on fourth, chased the kick which trapped the Warriors backs then the play-the-ball is scrappy and Nikorima loses it.

Next out, the Tigers, resplendent in their design trot onto the famous SCG. The two sides form a boomerang as we have the welcome to country then a hongi to embrace the maori culture before kick-off.

Firstly, for myself, I would like to acknowledge the Darug people, whose traditional land that this update is being done and to the Tharawal and Gandangara Nations.who also were prominent in south-west Sydney. Onto the game tonight! Both teams were narrow losers last start - the Warriors to the Premiers, Tigers to local rivals Eels in a spiteful clash. Now the Warriors have lost some of their superstars but none of their heart as they attempt to knock over a Tigers side full of energy and committment in 2020!
