Wests undo their good work by conceding a set restart as Newcastle march into their half.

Tigers starting to show some more resolve in defence as Adam Doueihi soars above to take the bomb on the last but it is far too late.

They don't do much with it though and again it is Newcastle on the attack and threatening. Blake Green to the air on the last. David Nofoaluma has it and is tackled near the 20.

The Tigers get a relieving penalty to help them out of their own end. They find touch inside the Newcastle half but this game is over.

Didn't even need to bump him off the replay - Marshall simply slid off. Too easy.

Kalyn Ponga again doing all the damage as he splits them before being tackled 20 out. Now the Knights get a penalty on the next play and have a full set close to the Tigers' line.

Lots to do for the Tigers and the Knights have a big lead at the break.

Thomas Mikaele drops the ball and they are giving themselves no chance to get back in this game.

Mitchell Pearce takes the bomb on the last. Knights inside their own 10. Tigers need to keep them down around their own line and not giving away easy penalties or metres.

Now Nofoaluma comes up with a great take under pressure to take a bomb and the Tigers also get a six-again. They definitely need to score next and momentum seems to have somewhat swung in their favour.

Benji kicks over the top to David Nofoaluma's corner but the ball just beats him. Better from the Tigers.

The Tigers get a relieving penalty with Benji Marshall toeing the ball ahead and Lachlan Fitzgibbon tackling him without the ball.

Oh dear.. the Tigers drop it again and are doing themselves no favours already down 14-0. Knights 30 out.

Starford To'a is over in the corner but Blake Green can't connect with the pass and it goes into touch.

Mitchell Pearce goes to the air and Adam Doueihi is under it. Newcastle rushing up with energy in defence and force an error from Asu Kepaoa. Knights full set 10 out.

Wests get through a set but are still losing the field position battle as they fall off tackles with Newcastle's outside backs causing plenty of damage.

Adam Doueihi drops the ball, leaving Wests scrambling in defence and they concede a penalty.

Newcastle with all the momentum at the moment as they explore the right edge with Ponga once more threatening. They are 30 out on the last. Blake Green goes to the air, it is tapped back and they score! We will have to check though.

Wests break down the right edge and David Nofoaluma steams down the touchline after a great offload from Joseph Leilua. Luke Brooks in support. Links back with Nofoaluma who is taken into touch but there's a hand from the Knights before and the Tigers have a great chance to score. They are 10 out.

Blake Green with a great touch kicking long. The Tigers outside backs do well to help them out of their won end and that may be the advantage Wests have early.

Starford To'a with two early catches under pressure in just his second NRL game. Into the grind in the early stages with neither team looking better than the other.

Blake Green makes his Knights debut in the halves while for the Tigers all eyes will be on milestone men Benji Marshall and Chris Lawrence.

This is a huge game in the context of the race towards the finals with both sides stuttering as of late when it comes to their ambitions to play beyond Round 20.
