Eels are just holding on here. Jaxon Paulo stretched into the backline and gave it to Corey Allan. He is grassed by Dylan Brown. Souths camp on the right and force a dropout.
Souths went for the killshot there. Gagai tries to go himself but loses it.

Eels go short but Takairangi loses it.
The tale of two goals. Moses hits the post, Reynolds puts his team up eight.
The King has no clothes this time. Cook went himself on last. He somehow gets the kick away, Gutherson pops it loose and Bayley Sironen pounces.
Moses hits the bar! My god. It bounced into the hands of Jaxon Paulo who strides away. He tried to position his support runner but he was caught. Souths right on the attack.
Dylan Brown has fashioned a repeat set from nowhere. Reed Mahoney almost goes close. It was spread to the thin right side but Paulo died with the ball. Souths offside.
Burgess and drop balls. Name a better duo. Tom Burgess knocks on.
It is all coming up Rabbitohs now. They have stretched the Eels defense. Reynolds tried to spy something on the short side again but it was forward.
Reynolds has the chance to put the Rabbitohs into the lead. He takes his time over the kick, trots back and forth and raises the flags.
Usually it is Cody Walker running the ball, this time it was Reynolds. The halfbakc pushed through the line, linked up with Graham who sent Cameron Murray in.
PENALTY EELS! Reynolds kicks early and tries to trap Gutherson. The ball spilled out and Liam Knight was away again. It was knocked out by the Rabbitohs.
Eels are surging again. George Jennings found some space down the left and then a big run from Brad Takairangi got them into position. Add in a set restart then it was put down by Ryan Matterson.
Reynolds fires home another two points.
Rabbits spring back into the contest. Cook searched from dummy half, turned it inside to Knight, who did the rest.
Lovely weighed kick from Reynolds which kissed the post and trapped George Jennings.
We've had a much more sedate start to the second stanza. Both sides have got through their sets without any error or favour. Now it's to see who can open up the game first.

HALFTIME! The Rabbitohs tried to go razzle dazzle. They went left, right and somehow back to the center. The inside ball to Walker was forward. He has a little set-to with Gutherson. The Eels after a slow start, lead by a dozen at oranges.
Some heads up footy almost gave the Rabbitohs a chance. Cook shrugged off his markers, darted further and kicked inside for the Eels defenders to almost keystone cops up. Dropout incoming though.
That looked more like the Rabbitohs. Jaxon Paulo got things started with a counter-attacking run. Souths tried to swing it down the short on last but Bayley Sironen is taken out.
Now they have a head of steam up. Eels have tried to go left again but the pass is wide and Jennings goes over the sideline.
Now the Rabbitohs have lost their way. Reynolds with an uncharacteristic kick out on the full.
Moses from the same area, nails it again.
GREEN LIGHTS.. TRY! He carried a few Rabbitohs with him and touched the grass.
BUNKER TIME! Gutherson might get a crowning tonight. He might have sliced through from the scrum.
Well hasn't this changed. Moses puts the kick high and Allan spills it. The Eels have turned this game.
Tougher angle this time for Moses. Nails it.
Parramatta goes bang, bang! Again it came from the offload. This time Lane puts Gutherson into space. The fullback eyed up a second but flung it to George Jennings to trot in.
Moses pilots the conversion through.
The King goes hunting! Junior Paulo stood in the tackle again, Gutherson swooped onto the ball and finished off the move.
Some wizardry from the Eels on last. Quick hands put Lane into space. He immediately put it on the toe and got the rebound off a Souths defender.
Eels get a slight reprieve. Junior Paulo's offload goes astray but Cam Murray put a hand in the way and jarred it loose.
Tough first kick for Reynolds. He studies and puts it over.
GREEN LIGHTS.. TRY! It only took a single look. Quick hands and Paulo was inside the sideline by miles.
BUNKER TIME! Souths struck right off the scrum. Checking touchline and putdown.
Eels had worked their way back into the game but this error has given Souths the chance again. Dunster knocked on close to the line.
Eels starting to find some rhythm now. Again, they tried to get Lane isolated against a defender but the big backrower knocked on.
Souths tried twice in that set to sweep right, and the second time saw George Jennings shut it down and force an error.
Eels are getting restarts by the barrell full now. They tried to get Shaun Lane one-on-one with Adam Reynolds but he was swamped.
PENALTY EELS! Strong run from George Jennings found the defense offside.

The Rabbitohs gave the ball some width early in the set. Graham tried to slice through then Adam Reynolds stabs it low and forced an accidental offside.
Oh dear. Shaun Lane loses it on his first ruck of the night. Rabbitohs have the first chance to strike.

The stage is set, here comes the musicians ready to rock the stage of the rugby league orchestra! First out is the visitors. South Sydney. Riding the wave of the points scored in recent weeks, strode onto the Bankwest turf confident again. Here comes the home side. The Eels have well known demons to slay. Can they tonight? or is it another sad song to conclude the Eels season.
Welcome everyone to the the second semi-final! It takes place in the West of Sydney, as the rampant Rabbitohs take on the top four Eels. Souths have been in irrestible form recently while Parramatta has lurched from a loss to a crisis. They lost star centre Michael Jennings this morning to a positive drug test after losing both wingers in mid-week. It does open up the chance for Haze Dunster to make his debut. For the Rabbitohs - despite what rumblings might be happening off the field, on-field they have been in sparkling form. Cody Walker, Adam Reynolds and Alex Johnston have piled on the points for fun and look to make it a pair of straight sets exits for the top four losers this weekend. So grab a beveridge, get comfy and let's get ready for finals footy!
