Cowboys offloading like their lives depend on it, but the Penrith scramble is good. They push it wide to Feldt but he can't reproduce his 2015 decider heroics and is pushed into touch before he can get it down.


For some reason we have a captains challenge from the Cowboys. It's unsuccessful. Penrith ball, but they lose it on the first tackle and the visitors have one more chance to post points.


To'o goes over in the corner but it's not a try and the Cowboys come away with it.


Panthers defence is elite. Cowboys just can't get through.


Jason Taumalolo crashes over... but is held up.

Cowboys go close but the last tackle options... they aren't great.


We back. Cowboys will rate themselves a chance here after restricting the Grand Finalists to just 8 points before the break. Penrith have first use though, running to the northern end of the Mulgoa Road venue.


Errors aplenty in the shadows of halftime. Penrith hold on to their 8-point lead as the siren sounds.


Penrith mess it all up but the Cowboys then make an error to give the hosts another decent chance before the break!


Penrith hammering the Cowboys line but they run the numbers to the right too quickly this time and they have to cut inside and are tackled.


Paul Momirovski goes over out to the right edge and claims a try, but on review the Bunker says no, as he had lost control of the ball attempting to ground it.


Penrith clearly dominating this contest but unable to strike any killer blows since the opening try. Cowboys defending reasonably well but poor with ball in hand.


Cowboys' promising attack falters with a forward pass close to the line.


Cleary tries a 40/20 but it doesn't turn left to find touch and instead trickles over the dead ball line.


Cowboys defend it out. Penrith then concede a penalty two tackles into the return set and finally there's some relief for the visitors.

Capewell into the starting side this year and he's rewarded with a try in 7 minutes after bumping off Clifford and ducking inside Hess.
