This time Cherry-Evans was laying it on, putting in an early kick for speedster Jason Saab, who was clear of Will Kennedy and won the race to the ball, but Kennedy was able to grab his legs and stop him from getting to the line. A couple tackles later, Jake Trbojevic lost it, and the Sharks hold on - for the time being.
It looked as if Manly were in for all money, with Tom Trbojevic throwing one of his signature cutout passes to Reuben Garrick, but Braydon Trindall came across and made an outstanding trysaver that saw Garrick go into touch. Sharks survive
