A special pre-match ceremony to pay tribute to Norm Provan with both captains carrying out the Provan-Summons trophy onto Nestrate Jubilee Stadium. The grandstand tonight has also been renamed the Norm Provan Grandstand.

As far as the teams are concerned. The Dragons bring Tariq Sims in jersey 20 with Jack De Belin dropping back to the bench with Jack Gosiewski returning to the 18th man role. For Penrith Matthew Eisenhuth is promoted to the starting side with Spencer Leniu going to the bench.
