The Tigers have benched James Tamou with Alex Twal earning only his third start of the season.

The Tigers have won four of their past five clashes against the Bulldogs, including a 36-22 victory at Leichhardt Oval a month ago.

The Tigers prevailed in their past two matches at Commbank Stadium with one-point victories over Parramatta (21-20) and South Sydney (23-22) earlier in the season.

The Bulldogs have a terrible historical record at Commbank Stadium winning three of their 14 visits; the last of which occurred in early 2020 against the Dragons.
