And another Storm turn over. Bellamy is quiet, very very quiet. Someone call for 17 ambulances

Souths defence lifting a gear now

Latrell with another one from the sideline which fades.
Oh it's diabolical now. Souths go right and Paulo is the lucky recipient after the Storm defenders are caught rushing up.
Melbourne make an error early in the ensuing set, Souths have it...
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?! Latrell Mitchell puts a kick in sensing no fullback at home for Melbourne after an error - it finds space and Alex Johnston is the one who gets to it with his boot, toeing it ahead a little bit more. It slows down and AJ looks like he's got it inside the dead-ball line... but it's dropped. A quick Bunker referral denies him and Souths an amazing try.
Munster nails one now! Superb effort, could it swing momentum back to the visitors?
Melbourne trying to stem the flow at the moment. Not great for the club from the southern state.
Easy stuff for Mitchell from right in front.
Ilias finishes off a superb movement up the guts, sliding to the in-goal and grounds it... just!
No luck from out wide, it fades away.

CAPTAINS CHALLENGE - Souths review a knock on ruling and get a favourable outcome. Solid early couple of minutes for the Storm leading up to it though.
We're back on.
Souths go into the sheds with a rare halftime lead over Melbourne. How rare I hear you ask? This is just the 5th time they've had a halftime lead over Melbourne. They went on to win just 1 of those games.
Munster with a 1-on-1 strip just 10 secs from halftime. Nothing comes of it.
Meaney converts from in front.
From the scrum, the Storm send the ball to Seve who straightens his run, bumps out of a few defenders and then gets through the line and races 50 metres to score

Mitchell converts
Souths send the ball casually to the right to Ilias who runs straight while holding the ball in front of him, engages the edge defence, passes to a jogging Koloamatangi who strolls through a gap and dives over to score. That was all far too easy. It was like the Bunnies were playing against the Wests Tigers defence.
PENALTY SOUTHS - Murray ducks in the tackle and his head is collected accidentally by the lowered arm of NAS. The big Storm unit is on report.
Storm get this dance started
