Here come the teams onto the sold out Perth stadium! The Queensland side get a good ovation from the Western Australian faithful while it is a bit more muted for the nominal home team New South Wales. First up we have the Welcome to Country from Richard Walley followed by the anthem then it's kick-off!
Kicking off the pre-match festivities was a quick set from Sydney rockers Grinspoon. They might have a tough act to follow but we are getting the usual line-up videos with the nice touch of each player's junior club as well. Only downside is them cosplaying as miners in the video but alas. The game is inching closer and closer.
Welcome to Origin 2! We are Picturesque Perth where the Blues are looking to keep the series alive while Queensland hope to head back across the Nullabor with the trophy! NSW have made seven changes to their side from Game 1 to get them going again while Queensland have remained mostly stable in their line-up.
