Manly swing the ball right this time and get Christian Tuipulotu one on one and also just outside Gutherson, who he takes on head-on. Gutherson though, despite being smashed, someone manages to cause the Manly winger to lose the ball, saving a try from being scored.

What a dire end to that set by Manly. Oddly went to the shortside on the last, on halfway to DCE, whose kick was charged down. Manly regathered and DCE kicked again, after having lost 25 metres and the Eels start their set on halfway

Strong run by Schuster leaves Eels defence scattered and stretched. He then got a quick play the ball where Croker quickly dished to Tom Trbojevic who barged over the line and got the ball down for a strong try to the left of the posts.
Manly survived Parramatta's one dimensional attack and now they're playing with more energy again
