Clashes between the two sides have been fairly evenly matched over the past decade with the Bulldogs holding a slender 10/18 record.

John Bateman will make his club debut in the second row with Shawn Blore shifting to the bench. Brandon Tumeth, who made his debut during last week’s loss to the Knights, drops out of the squad.

The Bulldogs have made one change from the side that stunned Melbourne last week; Jayden Tanner comes onto the bench in place of Franklin Pele.
