FULL TIME - Eels win 28-24.
Aloiai binned for striking.
Parramatta have it and will win. Manly very unfortunate to not earn a six-again call in that set after the Eels held on very long on the second tackle.
Joey Lussick held up on the last. Manly have 90 seconds to go 100 metres and win the game.
Now Reuben Garrick is penalised for being offside.
The Sea Eagles don't really go anywhere in this set. Daly Cherry-Evans to the air on the last from halfway and Clinton Gutherson is under it. Three minutes left.
Mitchell Moses clearing kick on the last. Tom Trbojevic brings it up to the 30. Manly on top here.
A great set after points and probably unlucky for Manly to not earn a six-again after Reagan Campbell-Gillard held on quite long in a tackle. Eels deep inside their 20 after the Sea Eagles marched up through the middle.
Big kick coming up. Garrick slots it.
Corey Waddell of all players! He spots an opportunity on the short side, Tolutau Koula goes to him and he barges his way over.
Tom Trbojevic brilliant. The fullback holds it up and goes wide to Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega who races away. Manly 30 out now. Three or four tackles left. Ain't able to do much so far though. A chaotic last tackle sees Lachlan Croker put in the kick and force a dropout.
Parra earn a penalty and go further ahead.
NO TRY! That is rubbed off the board... Tom Trbojevic went right through as Luke Brooks brilliantly played it back on the angle for the fullback after Kelma Tuilagi overcommitted to the play. He put Tolutau Koula over but the Bunker rules Jake Trbojevic obstructed Luca Moretti in the lead-up.
No points come from it as Manly go to the Parramatta right edge but Sean Russell forces an offload as he forces Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega towards the sideline and the Eels winger dives on the ball.
Could that be the game-changing play Manly needed? Daly Cherry-Evans with a huge kick to turn the Eels around and trap them deep inside their own 20. Now Josh Aloiai forces an error! Manly 10 out.
Eight points the difference now.
Dylan Brown almost goes through and Manly is just holding on... until a quick ball from Mitchell Moses puts Kelma Tuilagi, the former Sea Eagle, over.
Momentum still definitely in Parramatta's favour as a sloppy high tackle from Ben Trbojevic sees the Eels gifted a full set 20 out.
Both teams just going set for set at the moment. Manly especially struggling for field position.
Manly force an error as Bryce Cartwright puts it down on the last in a tackle by Luke Brooks.
Luke Brooks now kicks it out on the full. Eels 30 out.
Parramatta's left edge defence opens up again (take a shot) but fortunately for them poor execution sees Junior Paulo put a pass down. Eels ball on their own 20.
Shaun Lane pinged and a relieving penalty for the Sea Eagles following a strong set after points for Parra, who had Manly deep in their own territory.
Gutherson drags it right.
Now it is Manly's right edge defence that is carved up as Jaxson Paulo is forced in and Morgan Harper goes over untouched.
Dylan Brown puts in a kick on the last and Mitchell Moses is chasing. He is bumped by Reuben Garrick and earns the penalty. Full set for the Eels 10 out.
Back underway.
Controversy as replays seem to show Daly Cherry-Evans may have knocked on in the lead-up to the try for Garrick. It is a tight call and the referee made the call live so really can't fault him too much.
Unsuccessful from Reuben.
That left edge for Parramatta is a mess again. They get their numbers all wrong and it's a simple try for Garrick.
Luke Brooks splits them! He is finally dragged down by Dylan Brown but Manly is 20 out.
Big break for Manly as Bryce Cartwright forces an offload that Mitchell Moses puts down.
Now a penalty and the Eels are inside Manly's half again.
Gutherson drags it right.
Quick hands off the scrum and the debutant has a try. Silky stuff from Moses.
No dropout but a scrum inside the Manly 10 coming for Parramatta after a double knock-on is ruled, first against the visitors.
Also apologies it was Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega not Jaxson Paulo who came rushing in on the previous set.
Another repeat set it seems as Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega collects a grubber after initially fumbing it backwards.
An all or nothing play from Jaxson Paulo as he leaves his winger unmarked to shut down Clinton Gutherson, who can't get the ball away to the wing and instead flicks it to Mitchell Moses who links with Blaize Talagi and the youngster forces a dropout.
Jake Trbojevic tries the inside ball to Tom Trbojevic around halfway but he drops it amid cries he was tackled without the ball. No penalty, play on.
14-12 now.
Somehow Parramatta are about to be within two points here after earning a penalty as Junior Paulo pops an offload for Mitchell Moses to score!
Manly strip Parramatta for numbers on the right edge as Blaize Talagi is caught out in defence again. He recovers to take Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega into touch though.
A close call on the last after a Daly Cherry-Evans kick and Mitchell Moses saves the day with Luke Brooks closing in. Dropout incoming.
Just as Parramatta is putting things together Joe Ofahengaue drops it. Manly 10 out.
Gutherson makes it 14-6, a good result for Parramatta given how dominant Manly was early.
Well that was easy. Mitchell Moses with the kick, no one really is close to getting to it for Manly and it comes down perfectly for Penisini.
Ben Trbojevic drops it and Parra has another chance to put points on the board.
The Eels had an opportunity there as Raymond Tuiamalo Vaega came in off his wing and Dylan Brown throws a rainbow pass to Morgan Harper but miscues it and the ball goes into touch.
Dylan Brown and the Eels challenge it. Daly Cherry-Evans ruled to have stripped it out one-on-one and forward so knock on Manly. Full set for Parra 20 out.
Parramatta struggling for field position but a much-needed penalty sees the Eels into Manly territory. The Sea Eagles defence stands firm though and forces an error from Dylan Brown.
14-0 now.
The new-look combination of rookie Blaize Talagi and Morgan Harper are getting worked in defence.
Down that right edge and Manly go further ahead. There is a serious issue on that edge as the Eels defence comes in and it is a simple draw and pass for Paulo to go over.
Now a penalty sees Manly gifted more strong field position. The visitor start this set 40 out.
Manly almost catch Parramatta out on that edge again but Jaxson Paulo gets a bit too offload happy and the pass goes to the head of an unsuspecting Reuben Garrick and into the hands of Blaize Talagi, seeing the Eels get a full set inside the Manly half but Shaun Lane puts it down midway through the count.
An early 8-0 lead now.
Bryce Cartwright with a big hit on Josh Aloiai off the scrum. Maybe that'll spark Parrramatta early? Instead, Tom Trbojevic puts Reuben Garrick away on the right edge, he kicks back inside and Turbo is trailing in support to score!
An early 2-0 lead.
Crusher tackle against Parramatta and Manly will take the two.
Luke Brooks tries to thread the needle with the grubber. Dylan Brown sticks the foot out and regathers the ball but is taken into touch. Manly full set 20 out.
An early successful challenge for Manly as a loose carry from Josh Aloiai is reversed. Penalty Sea Eagles for a strip from J'maine Hopgood with two in the tackle. Manly 20 out.
Underway at Commbank.
