A depleted Melbourne Storm travel to take on the Newcastle Knights on their home turf at McDonald Jones Stadium to sign off on round 3 of the NRL Premiership. The Knights will be hoping they can get the crowd energy behind them to stave off a 0-3 start to the season, and with injury and suspensions depleting the Storm’s side today, it will be a good chance for them. The Storm will have fresh faces in the halves and not their usual A-side forwards, but they have been missing their stars now for a few rounds and are still getting the results. Two changes to the bench for Newcastle, with Jack Hetherington and Jed Cartwright both dropping out in favour of Mat Croker and Dylan Lucas. New signing Shawn Blore is set for his first run in Melbourne colours after coming into the run-on side for Joe Chan, who picked up a hand infection on Saturday.
