For the Knights the big news is no Dane Gagai after he was withdrawn due to a medical condition. Dylan Lucas will take his place in the centres. Daniel Saifiti moves to the starting lineup after Leo Thompson was suspended with Jack Hetherington and Brodie Jones the new faces on the bench.

Several changes for the Warriors, most notably Roger Tuivasa-Sheck back at fullback after Taine Tuaupiki suffered a concussion. Wayde Egan is back and pushes Freddy Lussick to 18th man as a result with Chanel Harris-Tavita a late inclusion on the bench. Dylan Walker was named but scratched due to an ankle injury and is replaced by Jazz Tevaga while Marata Niukore is also added to the bench over Tom Ale.
