FULL TIME - The Storm win it 48-16.
Asi sneaks it in.
A long looping ball and the Eels go over late.
Almost at 50 now.
Katoa soars over the top of Maika Sivo to come down with the Nick Meaney bomb and score a stunning try to cap things off for the Storm!
Nothing comes of the set as Joe Ofahengaue drops it.
No try but called no advantage so Eels will have the ball.
Daejarn Asi with a nice kick on the last tackle. Grant Anderson can't defuse it and drops the ball, there are numbers to the right as Blaize Talagi flicks it out. Viliami Penisini goes himself but some desperate defence has seemingly denied him!
Potential try here for the Eels.
The game has hit a bit of a lull period now, with the Storm well and truly on top.
Adds the two from in front.
Viliami Penisini tries the offload but Xavier Coates pounces and runs away to score!
A nice play from Parramatta, charging the ball down and they have it 20 out now with a full set up their sleeve.
A relieving error though for Parramatta as Josh King puts it down.
Too smart, Harry Grant. He spots a market offside and gets the six-again. Storm 10 out with a full set to come.
Smith makes no mistake.
This is getting humiliating for Parramatta. The right edge defence is found out once again as Alec MacDonald now races away and finds Smith for a quickfire double!
This is quickly getting away from Parra.
Too easy! They shift it left and create space for Smith to score!
They score immediately!
A cheap penalty for the Eels to give away and the Storm find touch over halfway. Hardly what they needed to do in their first set after Melbourne's try.
24-10 now.
A crucial first try in the second half for the Storm. Eliesa Katoa earned them a set restart to kick things off and then quick hands sees Xavier Coates step back inside before popping a late offload for Grant.
Grant Anderson with a great catch to come down with the last-tackle bomb. Storm working their way out from their own end.
A relieving error now from Melbourne on halfway. Eels around 30 out on the second.
Meaney makes no mistake.
Storm with an early opportunity for a penalty goal with Shaun Lane ruled to have taken out Tyran Wishart as he looked to chase his own kick.
Back underway.
The Storm hold on but the big news is Munster went off and may not come back today.
It looks to be a bad groin issue for him, which was a problem for Munster before the start of the year.
Eels still attacking 10 out but there is huge drama here with Cameron Munster in all sorts of pain.
Challenge is successful. The knock on is against Munster.
Initially it is off the knee of Talagi. No knock on yet?
Parramatta drop it but challenge the call. Junior Paulo went to offload. Blaize Talagi the man ruled to have knocked it on.
Momentum shift? Eels now with a penalty after Nelson Asofa-Solomona attacks the legs of Maika Sivo. He's on report.
A one-try game now.
TOO EASY! You don't see the Storm concede ones like that often. Off the scrum, Talagi switch sides and a great lead run on the inside opens up space for the fullback.
But now it's another error for the Storm trying to defuse a last-tackle kick. Bryce Cartwright with beautiful hands to send Bailey Simonsson down the sideline, he kicks inside and it's a tough one for Sualauvi Faalogo to take on the fly. He just drops it. Eels 10 out.
Challenge successful, they rule it went backwards.
Harry Grant is telling the referee to tell the Bunker to look at Viliami Penisini's right hand move.
The Storm are challenging.
Reimis Smith puts down the last-tackle crossfield kick and the Eels get a big chance here with a full set 10 out.
Xavier Coates penalised for a mid-air tackle that has opened up Blaize Talagi.
Suddenly it is a 16-4 lead for the Storm.
Quick hands sends Coates down the left sideline and he kicks inside for Grant... the Storm go bang, bang!
No mistake.
Meaney turns it back inside and William Warbrick breaks a number of tackles on his way to a sensational individual try!
So close! An exchange of passes has the Storm threatening to score, with Sualauvi Faalogo involved again, but the pass from Harry Grant trying to find his inside men is knocked down by Joe Ofahengaue and J'maine Hopgood takes it.
Cameron Munster with the steal. Storm have it back.
Wow, things get quite spectacular here as the Storm go down the left edge and Shawn Blore throws an adventurous long ball that Xavier Coates can't reel in and that says something. Eels 30 out.
The Eels suddenly find space on the left edge deep inside their own half and are suddenly in attacking territory but Shaun Lane puts it down.
Russell just misses.
The Eels capitalise on Will Warbrick's inability to defuse the bomb and it's an inside show from J'maine Hopgood that opens up just enough space for a right-side raid that sees Simonsson over in the corner!
Parramatta getting another opportunity as William Warbrick drops a bomb 10 out.
Blaize Talagi caught on the last as the ball is handed over.
A penalty against the run of play! Harry Grant goes to pass the ball but Joe Ofahengaue is in the way. The ref rules Grant intentionally threw it at him, milking the penalty, although that's questionable.
Meaney sends it right.
Tui Kamikamica on the angle and he scores!
But a poor choice there as the Eels force an offload 40 out and turn it over. Storm with a full set coming.
Nothing comes of that set for Parramatta but still a positive start that they were able to weather the early storm.
Credit Parramatta. All the pressure so far has been self-inflicted but Bailey Simonsson comes up with a crucial one-on-one tackle on the last. Now the Eels earn a relieving penalty.
Viliami Penisini now makes an error and Melbourne get another set 20 out.
Parramatta survive... only just after Sualauvi Faalogo threatened twice to score, first on the left with some slick stepping and then on the right again with his footwork.
Blaize Talagi with a mistake off Melbourne's first last-tackle kick of the game and Storm have an immediate scoring opportunity.
Underway.
