Doctors are concerned re: foot for Api
Bateman loses it, he has had a bad 2024 so far and he's over-trying at the moment.
The Tigers get a referee call in their favour. Challenge successful.
Challenge time for the Tigers.
Api Koroisau is coming off with an injury.
That has saved a try with a BRILLIANT TACKLE! Scott Sattler esque right there. Tigers had a chance, it was picked by Kennedy and he found Trindall before an AMAZING TACKLE from Trindall
GREAT TACKLE FROM POLE!
Trindall converts.
Nikora hits the line brilliantly and crosses to add pain for the Sharks. Brilliant ball from Trindall.
PENALTY SHARKS: Leg pull
Short dropout recovered by Colquhoun. The TLS NSW Cup POTW was away, but he is brought down awkwardly and this doesn't look good.
Trindall nails it.
The Sharks go COAST TO COAST! Mulitalo grabbed his hattrick after a brilliant kick return from deep inside his own end. He got on the outside of Bateman and got up to halfway before finding Trindall. The half juggled it but did well to haul it in before offloading back to Mulitalo to cross for his hattrick.
Bateman nearly gets intercepted by the Sharks. But Wilton goes without
Trindall adds the extras.
Brailey delivers a crash ball and Braden Hamlin-Uele crosses. Just don't try that celebration at Manly! Matt Lodge will have PTSD
SIX AGAIN TIGERS: Ruck
Cronulla just running over them.
Stefano Utoikamanu's manager might be cranky with him. He hasn't done much to enamour his $850,000 asking price.
Bomb batted back by Ronaldo Mulitalo. Found Ramien, but he waited too long to deliver the pass.
No good - wide left.
Lovely work down the left hand side. Daniel Atkinson drew in the right edge of the Tigers and Mulitalo crosses for his second and he lets the Tiggers section know all about it.
Late call from Daniel Luttringer and it is an escort. Api Koroisau has been in a running battle with Adam Gee all night. But great call from the touch judge as Doueihi changes his course.
Alex Seyfarth was out before he hit the ground. That will be the most obvious CAT 1 of the NRL 2024 season.
Challenge is successful.
Late change from the Bunker: Grant Atkins IN for Ashley Klein
Katoa loses the pill, but he wants to challenge and will.
Great mark by Thomas Hazelton.
Ramien tries to offload but it ends up in the arms of Alex Seyfarth
Both sides through their opening sets.
Cronulla handle the first early spread from the Tigers well. Adam Doueihi brought down 30m out from his own line.
Underway for the second stanza
Trindall nails it.
Wests seemed to dominate field position after a prolonged period with the football. However, Aidan Sezer's pass was picked off by Jesse Ramien who sprinted 80 metres before getting caughted by Bula and Staines. There was a lack of numbers in defence which allowed Katoa to run from dummy half and cross for the fourth try of the night.
PICKED OFF!
Galvin tries an early kick, but well trapped by Hazelton. Galvin scrambled well to recover it.
PENALTY TIGERS: High tackle

PENALTY TIGERS: Jesse Ramien caught inside 10
Trindal drops this one. Cronulla are going for several errors out of their own end.
Oh Aidan Sezer. Crunched on play 4 and he's lost possession of the football.
Tigers defuse the drop-out
Good grubber kick by Galvin. Kennedy takes zero chances and the Tigers should get another set (if they defuse the restart!)
SIX MORE TIGERS: Against Toby Rudolf.
PENALTY TIGERS: Crusher on Pole by Thomas Hazelton. On report for that tackle too
Api is back and we have 13 v 13
BALL DOESN'T LIE! The Sharks got a favourable call, but Jesse Ramien bombs a four pointer!!
Trindall nails it.
The Tigers have struggled when being down to 12 men this year. That continued here, as after successive sets on the line the Tigers wall cracked. A brilliant lofted pass from Briton Nikora delivered a brilliant pass to Sione Katoa to cross for the home side.
SIX AGAIN SHARKS: Ruck infringement
PENALTY SHARKS: Leg kicking the ball out, Aidan Sezer guilty there.
PENALTY SHARKS: Someone gave Adam Gee a bake there
Alex Seyfarth wearing 23 tonight.
Looking at that sin-bin again. I think that's an error from Gee, Trindall stands away from the marker as Api is directly in front of where Trindall plays the ball.
Forward bat on from Ramien.
Koroisau is GONEEEEE. Despite giving his best plea to Adam Gee. Apisai Koroisau is GONEEEEEEEE
Kick from Sezer is weighted well, but no one there to get him

Strong scramble on the line by the Tigers.
SIX AGAIN SHARKS: Ruck infringement (slow peel).
Strong return from Kennedy who combines with Iro to get play over the 40m line. Will Kennedy was pushing up in support but collided with Adam Gee.
Api levels the scores.
Despite a poor start, the Tigers stuck to their basics and got rewarded. Samuela Fainu hit a strong line and was able to offload to Jahreem Bula. Bula was then able to offload to Solomona Faataape to restore order for the visitors.

Great mark from Lobb, something the Tigers have lacked on the flank in recent weeks.

On play one... the man in the spotlight, Stefano Utoikamanu loses the ball.
That's been what has plagued the Sharks in this skid. Unnecessary errors coming out of their own end.
Cronulla through a strong set post points.
Trindall nails it. 6-0.
Cronulla had early ascendency with an early line-break from Daniel Atkinson. From the ensuing tackle, the Sharks moved the ball left as Trindall delivered early, quality ball to Kayal Iro as he got past some would-be tacklers for the first try.
