FT: Raiders 40 d Titans 24.
Canberra will run out the clock.
Campbell converts.
BIG MO! After 74 games, he goes over for his first try of the 2025 season. In a tough night for the Titans, he won't celebrate this one too much.
SIX AGAIN TITANS: Too slow.
Great kick from Fogarty.
Tamale is away down the sideline, throws the offload to Pattie, he finds Big Red, who finds Starling who puts it on the boot to find Savage in an absolute thrilling try! Savage gets his hattrick,
Tino reaches out and he will be denied.
SIX AGAIN TITANS: Three metres offside by a fair distance.
SIX AGAIN TITANS: Ruck infringement.
Simi Sasagi throws the offload to Row A.
Titans had to throw it around and the pass has been intercepted.
The Titans had to endure a lot of defence late in the second half on their own line and eventually the pressure took it's toll. Simi Sasagi came back against the grain to split the defence to slam the football down... but the try was denied by the Bunker due to obstruction.
PENALTY TITANS: Obstruction
The kick from Starling... it has been grounded by RCG.
Just has not been the Titans half of footy...
Titans survive that goal line stand.
CHALLENGE TIME RAIDERS: Successful as Hudson Young did not knock on.
Short dropout is taken by Savage.
Fogarty puts boot to ball and Brimson takes no chances.
SIX MORE RAIDERS: Inside 10
PENALTY RAIDERS: Foran kicks the ball out of the ruck.
SIX AGAIN RAIDERS: Ruck infringement.
Titans cannot execute and the pass is intercepted by Savage who finds Timoko and the Titans are back on the backfoot.
PENALTY TITANS: Offside from scrum and we will repack
Oh no Savelio Tamale has been locked and targeted! Another spill under the high ball.
Goal is good.
After getting some luck back, Foran dug into the line and found Jojo Fifita through a yawning gap and the Titans have their third.
The tackle was never completed and the Titans shove Weekes back into the in-goal.
Some much needed luck going the Titans way.
A great spiral bomb but that was well handled by AJ Brimson.
Titans go for the high ball but the luck is going for the Raiders.
Savage knocks it on. Some relief for the Titans.
Adds the extras.
The Raiders are running riot! Timoko goes over for a second after he and Weekes did so well to put Savage into space.
Campbell's pass goes forward.
AJ Brimson takes it on the full - there's a disruptor there but the referee does not give the call.
Kaeo Weekes is having a blinder out here this afternoon. Sensational stuff out here from the young fullback.
Canberra complete their set after points.
Misses again!
The bad luck continued to follow the Titans around. A clever kick from Ethan Strange was put down by Tony Francis and it was scooped up by Young to go over for his ninth try of the season.
Brimson takes the bomb under pressure from Tamale - great set from Canberra post points.
Easy kick from in front is made.
The second half started disastrously for the visitors. A bomb was allowed to be taken by Xavier Savage who beat Brimson and the cover defence to go all the way to score his second try.
Second half underway from GIO
HT: Raiders 18 lead Titans 12.
VIDEO REF: Kennedy has a NO TRY! This Raiders team is so good to watch!
Sneaks inside the right upright.
You cannot take your eyes off Weekes. A bit of explosive speed beat Kieran Foran on the outside to break away before he finds Hosking to go over to retake the lead for the Green Machine in the shadows of half-time.
Great take from Kaeo Weekes and the Raiders are coming out of their own end.
Back to an armwrestle and I think it is a fair reflection.
Campbell converts.
Despite the disappointment of failing to get over the line, the visitors got their reward when Tino Fa'asuamaleaui stood in the tackle of three Raiders defenders. The QLD representative was somehow able to unload to Josiah Pahulu and after a rough start to the season, he got over for his maiden NRL try.
PENALTY RAIDERS: High tackle.
Despite the three tries, Canberra didn't look comfortable in the game. After Jaimin Jolliffe was denied a play before, Jayden Campbell kicked early and Chris Randall went to ground it but was quickly chalked off after the Bunker revealed he bounced the ball.
Crash ball to Jolliffe and he will be denied.
Canbera come up with a mistake and it is a golden chance for the Titans to level it
Wide left.
Savage goes bang! Canberra have their third after a lengthy Bunker review. Hosking takes it off AKP, throws it back to Papalii and then finds Savage to go over to score.
Gee clears the involvement of Papalii in the initial challenge.
VIDEO REF: NO TRY! Josh Papalii has been called offside in the live call by Kennedy.
Raiders with seven offloads already.
Good set from the Raiders post points.
It's off the upright.
The Titans were made to pay a significant price for the returning Kieran Foran's kick sailing out on the full. Some terrific pass selection from Kaeo Weekes and Zac Hosking found Matt Timoko who went through a yawning gap to give the Raiders the lead.
Foran's kick goes out on the full.
Canberra making many breaks but the Titans seem to have all the defensive answers. Young might lose a demerit point off his kicking licence from that kick.
So much more confident is Kaeo Weekes under the high ball.
Savage had two cracks at catching it, bats it back and Timoko gets boot to ball. Jayden Campbell takes the ball from the goal line and gets up to the 20m line.
Campbell showing and going. Titans go the crash ball on the last but RCG will be denied.
PENALTY TITANS: Whole left side was offside
Tapine to Weekes who breaks away and he loses it on the ground!
Missed to the left.
Off the back of some poor discipline, the Raiders kept sustained pressure on the Titans defence. Hudson Young looked to capitalise on it with a grubber kick. It was heavy off the boot, but Seb Kris didn't give up on the play, batting it back into the field of play and Savelio Tamale was the beneficiary.
Great shot by Campbell on Hudson Young... picked him up and dumped him!
SIX AGAIN RAIDERS: Slow again
SIX AGAIN RAIDERS: Slow peel.
This time the bomb well taken by Tony Francis.
FALCON! Liam Kennedy has taken the ball to the back!
Campbell completes the set post point.
Campbell converts.
Off the back of a missed opportunity from the Raiders, the Titans got a penalty and immediately went down their left hand side. Some nice shape from Kieran Foran injected AJ Brimson through a poor read from Canberra's bad right edge and Jojo Fifita backed up in support for the opener.
Brimson splits them!
PENALTY TITANS: Too slow against Jamal Fogarty.
Tamale makes a break down the left but the pass was forward. Seb Kris causing some carnage there - the pass was forward in a good call from Chris Sutton.
That is a great mark from Alofiana Khan-Pereira! Titans survive the first attacking phase.
Horsburgh already causing carnage with his second phase.
Underway from Canberra!
Raiders are 1-17 but there are some spinal surgeries for the Titans. AJ Brimson to fullback, Kieran Foran fo 5/8 and Jaylan De Groot is on the bench. Also Chris Randall is starting for Klese Haas. Referee is Liam Kennedy in his 50th match. Noa Nadruku to blow the horn as Canberra run out onto the field.
Welcome to a freezing GIO Stadium. Our friend Darcie McDonald is on the sideline and recorded a feels like temperature of 3.5 degrees taken at 3:30 this afternoon in Canberra. It's an interesting clash with Canberra playing the unpredictable Titans.
