As mentioned in late mail, Broncos winger Corey Oates was a late omission. Brisbane have confirmed he has a groin injury and expected to return next round.
Welcome to Suncorp Stadium where the Brisbane Broncos host the Sydney Roosters, in what shapes as a blockbuster to begin Round 6. The home side will be desperate to get their season on track after only registering 2 wins from their first 5 matches. While the Roosters have been the big improvers in 2017, only suffering their first loss of the season last week against the giant killing Sea Eagles. There is plenty of history between these two glamour clubs and there will be plenty of feeling amongst both sides once they cross the white line.
The Broncos have some late changes with Corey Oates out injured, which sees former Titan David Mead start on the wing in his place. Both Sam Thaiday and Korbin Sims will start from the interchange bench in favour of Herman Ese'ese and Alex Glenn. Kodi Nikorima comes into the 17 as the bench utility.
