Newcastle welcome back Trent Hodkinson (five-eighth), with Brock Lamb left out along with Brendan Elliot. Joe Wardle comes onto the wing with Starling & Stone coming onto the bench.

Wests Tigers lost James Tedesco mid-week, with Kevin Naiqama to play at the back, MWZ coming onto the wing and Kyle Lovett also out which sees Joel Edwards listed in the second row. Twal joins the bench on his club debut.
