NRL 2025: what you need to know

It was a vastly different story to the last time these two teams met earlier in the season.
In round four, the Warriors were on a high, after three wins on the trot, and ran out winners 30-6. This time, however, it was a commanding performance from the Roosters, and the Warriors who were sent away licking their wounds.
The Roosters scored five unanswered tries, and kicked six goals, with the Warriors having no answer to some brilliant attack from Mitchell, Cronk, Keary and Ferguson.
And in attack, the Warriors simply weren't up to the task, especially considering they were lacking two of their key attacking weapons, Isaac Luke and Shaun Johnson.
The Warriors tried hard all game - led from the front by Agnatius Paasi, who's battle with Dylan Napa was a sight to behold. But they never looked cohesive in attack, and failed to complete sets on multiple occasions.
It took 20 minutes for the Roosters to score their first points, a penalty goal by Latrell Mitchell. The first try wasn't until a defensive lapse from the Warriors saw Ryan Matterson cross easily, in the 29th minute.
A try to Joseph Manu just prior to the break extended the lead, with the successful kick from Latrell Mitchell seeing the visitors go to half time leading 14-0.
A mistake from the kickoff in the second half, followed by a brilliant Luke Keary dummy, and the Roosters were in again - this time via Luke Tedesco.
A late second half try to Isaac Liu added insult to injury, and the Roosters took the game 32-0.
The Roosters finished the game with Dylan Napa on report for a shoulder charge on Paasi, and with Waerea-Hargreaves in the bin for running in to a scuffle late in the game. But neither of those incidents marred what was a powerful performance from the Roosters.
