Last week: 2nd
Earned a nice promotion to the top through the Dragons dropping their bundle against the Storm. Looking for a ninth-straight win when they take on Canterbury this Saturday.
Last week: 3rd
Still some defensive issues to account for but will be very happy to have racked up a big score against then-ladder-leaders St George Illawarra minus their Origin contigent.
Last week: 1st
While they slide to 3rd off that loss to Melbourne, they won't be searching for answers just yet - the absence of Origin stars was certainly a contributing factor. Need a confidence-boosting win over the Tigers this Sunday.
Last week: 5th
Impressive effort from an understength side on Friday. Ran riot over the Warriors, setting up a red-hot clash with the Sharks this Friday.
Last week: 4th
A bye week sees the Tricolours slide a spot but they're a safe bet to do the job over the Titans and keep their top four chances well in hand.
Last week: 6th
A clinical display against the Titans on Sunday - a win over the Warriors cements their place in the eight and gives them a narrow chance at a serious top eight tilt.
Last week: 8th
A bye sees them earn a jump on the back of a Warriors slide. Penrith are a formidable test on Friday.
Last week: 7th
The worrying slide at the back end of the Origin series appears to have begun. They should've put the Panthers away - and instead capitulated.
Last week: 10th
Inverted their usual practice by delivering a last-minute victory over Canterbury, having trailed by fourteen points in the final stages but winning by four. Can revive their finals hopes officially with a win over the Cowboys.
Last week: 11th
The bye and a big loss for the Titans sees the Knights float up one position. Their minimal finals hopes can get a boost with a win over Parramatta on Friday - the return of Mitchell Pearce an even bigger win.
Last week: 9th
A horror loss to the Broncos, albeit missing a couple of key forwards. Lots to work on and it gets no easier - the Roosters are in town this coming Sunday.
Last week: 13th
A much-needed bye and now the turn for home - the black, white and orange face a stern test straight up with the Dragons their opponents - at Kogarah - this Sunday.
Last week: 14th
Had the bye and earn a push up with Canterbury falling. Will need a strong performance to overcome and in-form Melbourne this Saturday.
Last week: 12th
Looked the goods for most of the contest against the Raiders before a catastrophic late-game collapse. South Sydney offer no respite this Saturday.
Last week: 15th
No movement from the bye weekend. A difficult trip to Canberra this weekend.
Last week: 16th
Picked up two points - from the bye - but now have eight games to navigate to end a disastrous season, starting Friday night in Newcastle.
