Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith has ended speculation over his playing future in signing a new two-year deal with the three-time premiers.
The evergreen dummy-half is almost certain to rack up his 400th NRL appearance during the 2019 season, with just 16 more appearances required to hit the unprecedented milestone.
Smith is also set to break a number of other records during the course of the contract, most notably the all-time premiership record for points scored by a single player - he's just 33 shy of the 2,418 scored by Canterbury-Bankstown winger Hazem El Masri between 1996 and 2009.
Always. Proud. Forever. Storm.
