Farah masterclass blitzes Warriors

Wests Tigers v Warriors

Robbie Farah continued his great form to start the season, with an amazing performance against the table topping Warriors. His Wests Tigers side finished 34-6 victors at Campbelltown in front of 9,881 fans.

The game was played fast and open with surprisingly few errors or penalties, given the very humid and wet conditions.

It took half an hour for the first points of the game to be registered when Esan Marsters kicked a penalty goal. Five minutes later the Tigers got a repeat set after a dropped ball. Farah then produced a stunning pass, Keith Holman-like pass from dummy half to Thompson and the winger strolled over for a try. Marsters was unable to convert from the sideline.

4 minutes later and right on halftime, a hurried, sneaky grubber from dummy half by Farah into the Warriors in-goal found Jennings who somehow managed to ground the ball for a try. Marsters converts to give the Tigers a 12-0 lead at oranges.

The Warriors struck first in the second half when the Warriors sent the ball through the hands and onto Maumalo, who dived over to score in the corner. Keighran converted.

4 minutes later Marsters slotted another penalty goal. In the 53^rd minute Farah again got involved when he again sent a short ball on the short side to Thompson who again scored in the left corner. Marsters was unable to convert.

Just after the hour mark had passed Marshall put a deft chip out to the right wing. Maumalo tried to reach it, but could only get a few fingertips on it. The ball fell into Fonua's arms and he raced over to score in the right corner untouched. Marsters was again unsuccessful with the conversion.

The Tigers weren't finished though. Nor was Farah.

In the 71st minute, the classy rake dummied and then dived over to score from dummy half. Marsters converted.

With the minutes left in the match, the Tigers scored again, when Marshall and Brooks linked together to put Chee Kam over on the left side for a clever try. Marsters converted to seal a commanding Tigers victory.
