Panthers: NSW halfback Nathan Cleary starts alongside James Maloney in the halves with Jarome Luai dropping to the bench. Mitchell Kenny and Liam Martin start resulting in Wayde Egan and Reagan Campbell-Gillard reverting to the bench. Sione Katoa and Hame Sele are omitted from the final 17.

Roosters: Plenty of changes from the team named on Tuesday. Latrell Mitchell, Angus Crichton and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves are all out; Ryan Hall, Lindsay Collins and Sam Verrills come into the squad. Former Dragons playmaker Drew Hutchison will make his first appearance in the NRL since Round 25, 2016 partnering Cooper Cronk in the halves.
