Wests Tigers v Sea Eagles preview

The Gold Coast Titans have stood stoically in front of the Brisbane Broncos' mid-season resurgence, downing their SEQ rivals 26-18 in front of more than 30,000 fans at Suncorp Stadium.
After a slow start - both sides with significant changes following Wednesday's Origin opener - the Titans were first on the board through Brian Kelly, after the Bunker had only just denied Brisbane a four-pointer. The 14th minute try for Kelly was followed ten minutes later when Tyrone Roberts scored their second.
By the 28th minute the Broncos had turned things around, shrinking the 0-12 deficit to 6-12 when Jake Turpin took advantage of some feeble Titans defence to score.
Neither side troubled the scorers again til the halftime siren loomed - Anthony Don getting over quite acrobatically in the corner and pushing the visitors to 18-6 in front at the break.
The first 20 minutes after halftime were fairly quiet - a questionable penalty against Tevita Pangai Junior saw Roberts attempt a penalty goal successfully in the 55th minute and the Titans' lead stretch out to 20-6.
Kelly claimed his second try and the Titans' last for the match with fifteen minutes remaining, darting over from dummy half to extend the away team's lead to twenty points.
Inside the last ten minutes the Broncos did manage two consolation tries to add some respect to the scoreline, with Kotoni Staggs and Anthony Milford both ensuring they were added to the scorers list, but they were never a chance beyond that and lost 26-18.
Next weekend, Brisbane are away to Parramatta, while the Titans host the Warriors.
