The Roosters have opted to drop Walker to 18th man, with Manu to pair Lam in the halves, Suaalii coming into the centres. Crichton is suspended so he drops out of the forward pack with Nat Butcher starting second row, and Egan Butcher joining the bench.

Canberra have retained the 17 named Tuesday, but will start Hodgson at hooker and bench Tom Starling. Anderson 18th man.
