Gold Coast have lost AJ Brimson and Moeaki Fotuaika, with Esan Marsters demoted from the bench to 18th man. Instead, Campbell plays fullback, Jolliffe prop, Stone second row and McIntyre lock, with Fifita and Tino benched and Joseph Vuna taking the spot vacated by Marsters on the pine.

The Roosters lose Tedesco, Nat Butcher and SST. Manu moves to fullback, Suaalii comes in at centre, Baker prop, and Ben Thomas joins the bench. Additionally, Ben Marschke is benched with Keighran starting at hooker. Brad Abbey is 18th man.
