Penrith punish rusty Roosters

Prolific former fullback Billy Slater will take the reins as Queensland's State of Origin coach from 2022.
News Corp papers publicised the two-year deal for Slater on Thursday night, just weeks after Paul Green stood down from the job.
After retiring in 2018, Slater has bided his time as Green took over from Wayne Bennett in 2021, only to see New South Wales score a comfortable series win over the Maroons.
The News Corp report also suggests Bennett could be called upon as a mentor for the Storm and Maroons legend, who has little-to-no coaching experience thus far.
The QRL is expected to announce the deal on Friday.
