Trailing 24-16 at the break, the Thunder put in a stellar second half to down Whitehaven comfortably at home on a chilly Newcastle afternoon.

After a patchy first three weeks, London started positively, keeping pace with Featherstone in the first half before a Gareth Gale try on the 30th minute shot Featherstone to a 12-6 halftime lead. In the second half London continued to pressure and at one point had the score at 12-18 before Featherstone kicked away late for a 30-12 win.

Despite a competitive first half, which finished with Leigh leading 6-4, York were left in the dust in the second half. Leigh scored six unanswered tries in the second half. It's York's biggest loss at home in nine years.
