Liam Martin is out for Penrith, and Charlie Staines drops off the bench. Chris Smith comes straight into the side starting at second row, with J'maine Hopgood joining the bench. Jarome Luai returns after a month off due to a knee injury.

Changes aplenty for the Warriors. After initially being named on Tuesday, Euan Aitken withdrew that night for personal reasons. Katoa moves into the starting back row. Elsewhere, Marcelo Montoya and Wayde Egan are both omissions as well, with Pompey (centre) and Lussick (hooker) coming into the side. Afoa is benched with Lui starting lock, while BMM and Otukolo fill the remaining vacant bench spots.
