NRL Judiciary: 2022 Finals Week 1

One player has been suspended and one fined so far from the first weekend of NRL finals, with three others charged.

On Sunday, Dale Finucane and Felise Kaufusi were both charged with Grade 1 offences - neither will miss game time if they accept the early plea.

SUNDAY 10AM:

Taylan May has accepted a one-match ban for his high shot on Will Penisini, while Spencer Leniu has accepted a fine.

Charges from Saturday's matches will be available later today.

SATURDAY 9AM:

The NRL match review committee has charged two players from Friday night's Qualifying Final between Penrith and Parramatta.

Panthers winger Taylan May will miss the preliminary final in a fortnight with an early guilty plea, but may also miss a Grand Final if the Panthers qualify. He was charged with a Grade 2 Careless High Tackle after being sin binned for a high shot on Will Penisini.

His teammate, bench forward Spencer Leniu, is facing a $750 fine with an early plea, after his Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge following a high shot on Parramatta forward Isaiah Papali'i.
