Parramatta Eels v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

In front of a packed 27,655 crowd at Commbank Stadium, Parramatta have put on a show for their home fans and recorded a 30-4 win over rivals Canterbury on Sunday afternoon.

Canterbury lost potent outside back Jacob Kiraz, adding an already-mounting injury toll early on. It took until the quarter-mark of the match before the scoreboard began to tick, but once it did the Eels surged to a 16-0 lead before the 'Dogs put the brakes on their go-forward.

It was pure carnage for Canterbury once Will Penisini broke through their line, and from the set after that try, the tryscorer provided an assist for Moses and suddenly the Eels led 12-0. Maika Sivo's first try pushed the scoreline out to 16-0 and things were looking desperate until the visitors found a bit more defensive resolve.

The Bulldogs scored first after the break, Paul Alamoti getting the ball down in the 50th minute - but the Eels eventually put the game beyond doubt inside the final twenty, Reagan Campbell-Gillard crashing over.

A late try for Sivo - his second of the match - secured the victory in the final minutes.

The loss sees both sides with a 3-4 record after seven rounds - next week the Eels host Brisbane in Darwin while Canterbury are at home to Cronulla at Accor Stadium.
