Leigh Leopards won 20-10 against Castleford Tigers down Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Thursday night.
The Leopards have won four on the bounce and maintain some hope of making a finals appearance in 2024.
Castleford Tigers were the first on the board. Youngster Fletcher Rooney finished off the backline move to make it 4-0.
Leigh responded with a score of their own. Zak Hardaker sliced through the defense and slammed it down.
The visitors kept their pace up with a try from a kick. It bent into the path of Josh Charnley who dived over for 8-4.
They started the second half with a bang through Edwin Ipape. He was there to catch a rebound and streaked away.
Lam put the icing on the cake with a superb pass. He unfurled the pass which found Charnley who went over for his second four-pointer.
Tigers did get one back before full-time. Joe Westerman bounced off a few tacklers to touch down for 20-10.

Wigan Warriors won 28-14 against Huddersfield Giants down at the Brick Community Stadium on Thursday night.
The Warriors move back to the top of the Super League ladder after their win before the weekend matches.
Huddersfield Giants struck first in the contest. It was juggling effort near the sideline which saw former Warrior Jake Bibby go over.
The Giants added a penalty goal before half-time and took an 8-0 lead going into the sheds against the Champions.
Wigan needed a spark after the break which Jake Wardle provided. He picked up the scraps and raced away to get them on the board.
They kept pushing forward and took the lead soon after. The high kick found Ryan Hampshire who scored to make it 12-8.
It was all systems go for the Warriors in the second half. Jai Field took a pass, juggled then danced past the defense to score.
Next, it was a party piece from Wigan from the scrum. The kick was punched deep and bounced right into the hands of Zach Ekersley to score.
Wigan also added a pair of penalty goals in the second half from Adam Keighran which helped to stretch out their advantage.
The Giants did find a late consolation four-pointer through another former Warrior in Sam Halsall. He lept highest to pluck the ball and bring it back to 28-14.

Hull KR were 22-4 winners against Warrington Wolves in their game at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.
The Robins glide to the top of the Super League ladder after downing fellow challenger Warrington in the lone Friday fixture.
They crashed over the line early in the contest. It was a short pass to Sauaso Sue who plunged over the white stripe.
Hull KR doubled their delight from a kick. It was put high and Tyrone May was able to go highest to touch down for 10-0.
Wolves tried to get themselves back in the contest. George Williams sliced through and tried to position a kick to the wing but it was easily taken by May.
Josh Thewlis thought he had pegged one back for Wolves after he scooped up an error to stride away but the video referee ruled a double knock on.
The Wolves did get on the board after the break. Matt Dufty floated a pass to Matty Ashton who dived over.
Hull KR got rewarded from the boot again. Mikey Lewis put up the kick and the bat back fell to the half who picked up the scraps.
Peta Hiku stamped the win with Hull KR's four try of the night. The veteran cut through to slam down the ball and make it 22-4.

St Helens bounced back and thumped Hull FC 46-6 in their game down at MKM Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Saints needed a big result after they suffered the same score line last weekend against Leigh Leopards.
The visitors sliced through the middle then an exchange of passes ended with Lewis Dodd going over for 6-0.
Next, the Saints flung the ball wide for their second four-pointer. Tommy Makinson dived over in the right corner.
St Helens pushed their advantage further right after half-time. Curtis Sironen burst through then found Dodd for his second of the afternoon.
It was all Saints in the second half, Daryl Clark bumped off a few tacklers and slammed the ball down to make it 22-0.
Hull FC's afternoon went worse when Brad Fash was sin binned which allowed St Helens to strike again through Matt Whitley.
The tries kept coming for the visitors. Jake Burns scooted over then Agnatius Paasi strolled through a gap for 40-0.
Jake Burns rounded off the Saints romp with his second four-pointer after taking an offload then streaking away.
Hull FC did find a late consolation four-pointer to get on the board. Jake Walker snatched the grubber to make it 46-6.

Salford Red Devils won 22-16 against Leeds Rhinos down at Salford Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils keep themselves well in the fight for the top six as we head into the final section of the season.
It was the Rhinos who stamped their mark on the game first after Tim Lafai was binned. Matt Frawley sliced through and showed enough speed to get on the board.
Next, the Rhinos struck from range again. They broke through again and Alfie Edgell supported the runner to make it 12-0.
It wasn't all roses for the Rhinos who had Rhyse Martin sin binned for a dangerous tackle on a Red Devil.
Salford made an instant impact to get back in the contest. Kallum Watkins surged through a gap to go over.
Brodie Croft came back to haunt his old side and extended Leeds lead. It was an interchange of passes which saw the half touch down after video referee confirmation.
Nene Macdonald had a pair of efforts chalked off by the video while Salford had one ruled off due to a forward pass.
Salford hit the lead for the first time in the second half. It was another good run and ended with Joe Mellor slamming down for 18-16.
Marc Sneyd piloted over a pair of penalty goals which extended the Red Devils lead to six and saw Leeds' James Bentley binned for a high shot.

London Broncos beat Catalans Dragons 12-10 in their game at Cherry Red Records Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos have got themselves back within sight of survival after a gritty win against the Dragons.
It was a tight opening to the contest with both teams having chances and trying to prise open the game.
London Broncos were the first team to get some points. It was a short pass which ended with Jacob Jones nudging over from close range.
The Dragons almost struck right after the restart. They looked to surge over the line but some solid work from Josh Rourke denied them.
Catalans did get on the board eventually. Jarrod Wallace charged onto the ball and rolled over the line for 6-all.
London Broncos had an instant response to retake the lead. They kept the ball alive then Oli Leyland popped it up to Jarred Bassett to go over.
The hosts were playing with energy and almost got a whackey bounce that ended back with the Broncos and saw Saidq Adebiyi held up.
Leyland inspired the Broncos forward again with the 40/20 to give them breathing room but they were unable to find the stripe.
The Dragons brought it back to 12-10 in the late stages. A high kick was batted back for Foud Yaha who got his maiden four-pointer of the season.
The usually assured Arthur Mourgue was wide from the tee which set up a grandstand finish in the London sunshine.
The Broncos had to hold off some late surges from the Dragons but held on for a massive run in the context of their season.
