York Valkyrie won 18-8 against St Helens in their game at Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Valkyrie have won back-to-back Women's Super League titles against the high flying Saints side.
For St Helens, they fall short of a historic treble after they collected both the League Leader's Shield and Women's Challenge Cup.
It was the Saints who struck first. Leah Burke got on the outside of her defender and had the top try scorer dived over for the score.
York hit back from the boot. The Saints let it bounce and Lacey Owen swooped on the ball to go over under the post for 6-4.
St Helens wrestled back the lead from the tee. Faye Gaskin piloted home a pair of penalty goals for a two point lead.
Once again, Rhiannon Marshall had magic in her boot. She forced another error the Saints and Eboni Partington was sent over in the corner.
York extended their lead through Kelsey Gentles. She scooped up the ball on last, evaded the defenders and touched down for 18-8.
The Valkyrie saw out the rest of the game to run out champions. They become the first side to retain their Women's Super League crown.
