Hull FC won 24-14 against Castleford Tigers in their game at The Jungle on Thursday night.
The visitors have gone four games unbeaten in their continued strong start to the 2025 campaign.
It was a bullocking effort from Herman Ese'ese who kept pushing and slammed down the ball for Hull FC.
The Tigers fought back with a long range effort. They spread it wide for Adam Swift to streak down the wing then find Rowan Milnes inside for 6-all.
Hull FC put their foot down and scored twice to lead by a dozen at the break. Tom Briscoe made the break and Aiden Sezer backed up well go to over.
Next, it was a simple back line move that sent the visitors over. The ball was flung wide to Briscoe who dived in.
Things went from bad to worse for Castleford when Innes Senior was sin binned for a high shot early in the second half.
Hull FC made use of the extra man quickly. It was another backline move which ended with Lewis Martin going in untouched for 24-6.
The visitors did fall foul of the officials with a sin bin of their own. Hooker Amir Borough went off for a dangerous tackle to leave us 12 on 12.
The Tigers did score a pair of consolation goals late in the game. Tex Hoy sliced through for an individual score then Joshua Simm touched down.

Warrington Wolves won 16-14 against Leeds Rhinos down at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.
The Wolves have recorded back-to-back wins which has moved them into the Super League top six.
Warrington were the first side on the board from some individual brilliance. Arron Lindop had space on the wing, chipped for himself and got the bounce.
It was the spine combining for Leeds first score. Brodie Croft linked with Jake Connor who in turn found James McDonnell to slice through for 6-all.
Connor was heavily involved again for the Rhinos. He stretched the field then it was turned back for Riley Lumb to go over.
The Rhinos continued to exploit the Wolves edges in the second half. Lachlan Miller fired a pass out for Ryan Hall to get across.
Wolves bit back from their own main men. George Williams unfurled a pass for Stefan Ratchford who rolled over to get them back in the game.
Not helping matters was Keenan Palasia being sin binned for a high tackle which left the Rhinos with 12 men for the remainder.
Warrington took quick advantage of this to score the winner. Matt Dufty combined with Ratchford before they found Jake Thewlis to send the home crowd into raptures.
Warrington Wolves 16 Leeds Rhinos 14

Wakefield Trinity won 40-14 against Leigh Leopards at Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Friday night.
Trinity bounced back with a vital two points which keeps them in range of the Super League top six.
The visitors drew first blood from close range. Liam Hood found Mike McMeekan who in turn offloaded to Oliver Russell to go over.
Hood and McMeekan combined again for the latter to crash over for a 12-nil Wakefield Trinity lead.
Leigh got themselves on the board through Umyla Hanley. He strode onto a short ball and sliced through.
Buoyed by that, the Leopards struck again. They went to the right again and Keanen Brand went over in the corner for 12-10.
McMeekan made it a first half double when he picked up the scraps from a messy last tackle option for Wakefield.
The visitors picked up right where they left off in the second half. Tom Johnstone snaffled an intercept and streaked away for 24-10.
After helping to supply a pair of scores, Hood snatched one of his own from close range after fooling the Leopards defense.
Leigh cut into the deficit in the second half. Lachlan Lam laid on the pass for Frankie Halton to slide over.
It was Trinity's night though. Johnstone completed a brace alongside Russell as they blew the game out to a 40-14 result.
Leigh Leopards 14 Wakefield Trinity 40

St Helens won 14-13 against Catalans Dragons in their game at Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday evening.
The Saints remain a streaky side who have alternated wins and losses in the early weeks of the season.
St Helens marched into the lead early in the game. Tristan Sailor showed off his speed from an offload to go over.
The dream start continued for the Saints in the first 10 minutes. They broke through the Dragons defence and Sailor was on the back up again to make it 12-0.
Catalans responded with some flair of their own. Tommy Makinson was in space, chipped inside and it bounced perfectly for Sam Tomkins to touch down.
Next, it was a solo effort from Tomkins to get the Dragons within two. He stepped left, right and over the tryline for his second of the game.
The Saints were pinged for offside which saw Dragons opt for the two. Tomkins piloted over the goal for a 12-all scoreline.
The visitors set it up perfectly to snatch back the lead. Jonny Lomax stood deep and floated over the kick for a 13-12 lead.
Dragons showed that they can set up for a field goal well themselves. Luke Keary was in the pocket and levelled the game again.
It was the visitors who took the chocolates in this game. Lomax again drilled the field goal to earn the win 14-13.
Catalans Dragons 13 St Helens 14

Hull KR won 50-4 against Huddersfield Giants down at John Smith's Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Robins lead the chasing pack by three points early in the Super League season after making it six from six.
Mikey Lewis had a determined run as he tumbled towards the line then offloaded for Oliver Gildart to collect the easy score.
Giants half George Flanagan responded with a highlight reel score. He fooled the defense then showed off his pace to go over untouched.
It was a spin-o-rama from Lewis to put the Robins further ahead then new signing Arthur Mourgue finished off a move for a 16-4 half-time lead.
Hull KR showed no mercy in the second half running up the score. Lewis was heavily involved again when he sent Jai Whitbread over.
Jez Litten was the next to profit from Lewis' work for a score then Sauaso Sue strolled over from close range for 34-4.
Lewis capped off his perfect afternoon with a pair of support efforts that helped bring up his hat-trick and push Hull KR past the 40 point mark.
Hull KR put the icing on the cake with a long range effort. Tom Davies snatched up Tyrone May's kick to raise the high century.
Huddersfield Giants 4 Hull KR 50

Wigan Warriors won 54-nil against Salford Red Devils at the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday night.
The Warriors remain the gold standard in the Super League and have scored points for fun this season.
It took the Warriors ten minutes to break the game open. Junior Nsemba strode through then found Jake Wardle for the first score.
Everything didn't go the hosts way in the contest. Tyler Dupree was binned early on for a high tackle.
Wigan weren't phased by the binning and scored thrice during it. Jai Field streaked away then Nsemba and Wardle combined for the latter to collect his second.
Next, Nsemba profited instead of provided the score. He brushed off the flimsy defense to make it 22-nil at half-time.
The Warriors kept rolling in the second half. They piled on 32 points to go past the half century in the crushing win.
Field showed off his blistering speed on a kick return to munch metres then offloaded to Liam Marshall for the score.
Wardle completed his hat-trick in the second half while Field added a brace in the one-sided affair.
Zach Eckersley, Bevan French and Sam Walters were the other Warriors to cross the stripe in the win.
