The Hull Kingston Rovers have continued their ruthless displays of attacking football with a 48-0 massacre of the Castleford Tigers.
Alarm bells were ringing early for Danny Maguire's side when Rovers scored their first points after just three minutes through a familiar set play. A lovely shift down the left hand side put Jack Broadbent over and the signs were ominous for the Tigers. Six minutes later, the left side were at it again and Broadbent turned provider with a lovely catch-and-pass to Noah Booth who touched down in the corner.
Despite a brief resistance from the Tigers, Rovers struck with force 15 minutes before the break down the right edge when Arthur Morugue delivered a lofted pass to Tom Davies who had too much pace for the cover and strolled over out wide. Morugue then added his name to the score-sheet before the break after being on the end of a Sam Luckley offload to lead 20-0 at the break.
Zac Cini nearly stunned the visitors with a great team try seven minutes after the restart, but the effort was denied by video referee Aaron Moore. That was as close as the Tigers got and the Rovers ran riot in the second half. After 52 minutes, Broadbent broke away again before finding Jai Whitbread who strolled across to give Rovers a commanding lead.
In the last 15 minutes, the Tigers resistance slowly evaporated. A chaotic sequence of play led to Booth's second try, following some wild Rovers play. Further tries to Tyrone May and doubles for Davies and Broadbent added to Castleford's woes to be soundly defeated at the Jungle.

St Helens minus several injured stars have proven that they are a force in this season's competition with an emphatic 18-4 verdict over the Leeds Rhinos.
An early high tackle penalty against the Rhinos allowed Saints to dictate early terms. A Kyle Feldt penalty goal gave the hosts a 2-0 lead. The slow start continued with another lapse in discipline costing the Rhinos, Feldt doubled the advantage to continue holding Leeds at bay.
Leeds looked destined to score the first try after half an hour when Ryan Hall was streaking down the sideline. But, from no-where it seemed, the Saints scrambled and held up the try-scoring sensation. Right on the break, new signing Deon Cross made his impact known at the Totally Wicked Stadium, crossing for an individual try to make it 8-0 at the change of ends.
Straight after the break, Leeds looked the more dangerous of the two sides and Lachie Miller burst through the defence. After being ankle-tapped, he got up and launched a great pass to Ash Handley before finding Riley Lumb out wide to cut the gap in half. That was the closest Leeds got to the lead.
Just on the hour mark, some quick hands to the left edge saw young winger Owen Dagnall go across and make the gap ten points. Tristan Sailor wrapped this ball game up on full-time with a scintillating effort, running at full pace through a gap to slam the football down and give Paul Wellens a relieving victory.

Wakefield have delivered Super League's biggest upset this season, downing Wigan by 16-10 at home.
It took 17 minutes for the game to open up and it was their rampaging forward from the Sunshine Coast that got them across the line. Caius Faatili has proven to be quite the pickup for Trinity this season and he charged through some pedestrian defence to get on the board first.
Just before the break, the Wakefield side launched a hammer blow on the defending premiers. A deft kick by Mason Lino at the line saw Josh Griffin win the race to the ball and ground it. Wakefield went into the break with a shock 10-0 lead.
Right after the break, whatever Matt Peet said to his troops appeared to do the trick and they hit back with almost immediate effect. A delightful pass from Bevan French hit Adam Keighran on the chest and saw the former Australian journeymen crash across.
Wakefield added a third and what would turn to be a decisive try after 53 minutes. A great lofted pass from Jake Trueman found Tom Johnstone who beat the cover defence and touched down in the corner. Wigan added a late consolation try when Jai Field split the Wakefield defence but it was all in vain as the Wakefield side delivered a gigantic upset.

Just under 24 hours after Wakefield's humongous upset against Wigan, Huddersfield delivered an upset to rival it with a 24-16 verdict over an underwhelming Warrington side. The win was overshadowed by Taane Milne being placed on report over an alleged eye-gouging incident.
Huddersfield started the game in fine fashion, capitalising on a George Williams pass which was intercepted by Tui Lolohea. Lolohea ran up to the 30 metre line before finding Jacob Gagai to finish off the long-range movement and open the scoring. Five minutes later, the wizardry of George Flanagan Jr created a chance down the left hand side before Sam Halsall quickly got it onto Jake Bibby to make it 12-0.
With fifteen to go before the break, Wire hit back with a scrum play. Marc Sneyd put on a step and a jink to go over for the Wolves to cut the gap in half. A late penalty goal made it a two-possession game before fireworks erupted on half-time. A scuffle resulted in an eye-gouge allegation being made against Milne and the former Rabbitoh was put on report.
Milne would have the last laugh five minutes into the second half when he got on the outside of some woeful defence to make the score 20-6. Gagai put the game beyond doubt with fifteen minutes after a well worked set play down the right edge gave the Giants some real estate to work in. Warrington managed two consolation tries to Toby King and Jake Thewlis but it didn't stop the Giants partying hard after their second win of the season.

Warm conditions and a second half brain snap from import Tevita Pangai Jr have undone the Catalans Dragons as they were defeated by 14 points against Leigh at home.
Scorching temperatures around 35 degrees meant the players were allotted drinks breaks midway through the half. It impacted the game early, with Catalans dominating possession bur unable to capitalise and trouble the scorer. Leigh opened the scoring after 30 minutes thanks to a well executed set play which saw Tesi Niu score in the left corner.
Catalans were thinking about last week's horror show in Hull when they conceded a second try shortly afterwards. The halves of O'Brien and Lam combined brilliantly down the right edge to send Irish international Keenan Brand over in the corner. Despite their recent scoring troubles, the Dragons ended up with a try in the shadows of half-time. Pangai Jr charged across to cut the gap in half at the break.
After the break, a Luke Keary bust set the hosts on their way. He found support in the returning Sam Tomkins who fired a pass to Tommy Makinson to tie the scores at 12-all. With fifteen minutes to go, TPJ's aggression went too far and he was sin-binned for a high tackle and as he departed from the field, so did Catalans' chances of winning.
Leigh fired in a further two tries to claim victory. The first came from big Joe Ofahengaue who charged across not long after TPJ's yellow card to cement the gap. Before Newcastle's own David Armstrong sealed the game eight minutes from time with a scintillating individual try.

Despite a tight first half which saw Salford play some of their finest football of 2025, a strong second half from Hull FC was enough to turn the tide and claim a 38-6 victory.
It was a tough and hard fought first 40 minutes. Hull wasted no time racing down field after a brief bit of defending on their own line and scored the opening try. Cade Cust dipped in and out of the line before stepping past the fullback to dive over under the posts. Salford wouldn't go away, levelling the scores through Chris Hankinson. The centre finished off a great try after Johnny Vaughan fooled some defenders before unloading back inside to level the game.
Hull managed two tries before the break to go into the sheds up by two possessions. A last tackle sweep to the left edge was enough to send team leading try-scorer Lewis Martin over in the corner to regain the lead, this lead was doubled in the shadows of half-time when Davvy Litten crashed over on the same side to make it 14-6 at the break.
The second half was one way traffic for the Black and White's. Sam Eseh crashed over shortly after the break and that was a sign for Salford that their positive first half was about to become a fast-fading memory. Zak Hardaker crossed after 53 minutes and the points were continuing to flow steadily for the visitors, rewarding the 20 coach loads of spectators that made the trip from Hull.
Two late tries to Tom Briscoe and Harvey Bannon put the icing on the cake for Hull as their strong away record this season in Super League continued. Briscoe's effort saw him become the ninth joint top try scorer in Super League on 173- joint with former legend Leon Pryce. Salford can take solace from their best forty minutes of the season in the first half, but once the teams adjusted at the half… it was clear the talent disparity would see them run down.
