Leeds Rhinos won 48-30 against Leigh Leopards in their game at AMT Headingley Stadium on Friday night.
The Rhinos got the game started with a try from the boot. Jake Connor punched through a kick which Kallum Watkins touched down.
Leigh responded with a strong effort. Isaac Liu shrugged off a few defenders and rolled over for a four-pointer.
The game continued to see-saw in an open affair. Jacob Miller was there for an offload to run away for the Rhinos then Keanen Brand popped over for Leigh.
Next, it was Cameron Smith's turn to get into the action. He juggled the ball before surging over the line.
The Rhinos extended their lead to 24-10 before half-time. Brodie Croft broke through then floated a pass to Harry Newman to score.
Leigh cut into the deficit with some superb work. A high kick was plucked out of the air and offloaded to Gareth O'Brien to go over.
The Rhinos were on the double in the second half. Newman collected his second from a kick followed by Watkins slicing through to get his brace.
Brand decided to get into the multiples action. He finished off a backline move to get Leigh back to 36-20.
The Rhinos forwards finished off the win with a pair of scores. Tom Holroyd and Mikolaj Oledzki bumped their way over.
While it was a losing effort, Brand did get himself a hat-trick. It was another sweeping move which he finished.
The Leopards were the last team to get on the board. Ben McNamara pushed through then grubbered for Umlya Hanley to score.

Leaders Hull KR won 34-10 against Wakefield Trinity in their game down at Craven Park on Friday night.
The Robins maintain their four-point advantage at the summit of the Super League competition after this result.
They were the first side to cross in the opening stages. Rhyse Martin offloaded to Tom Davies who scored in the corner.
Wakefield responded with a score of their own. Harry Trueman unfurled a pass wide to Tom Johnstone to stroll in.
The visitors built on that four-pointer with a set move to the right which ended with Corey Hall scoring to make it 10-6.
It continued to be an evening for wingers. Hull KR swung the ball out wide and Joe Burgess touched down.
The second half was all the home side. Mikey Lewis had a bullocking run to score then Davies finished off a backline move for his second.
Trinity were given a boost to their comeback when Lewis was binned for a professional foul but Hull KR held firm.
It was the Robins who scored during the period. Davies completed his hat-trick after a break from Jack Broadbent for 30-10.
Peta Hiku put the icing on the cake with a four-pointer from another slick Hull KR backline move on the right side.

Warrington Wolves won 24-10 against Hull FC down at Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday evening.
Their win moves the Wolves within three points of the vanquished Hull FC in sixth place on the Super League ladder.
The hosts opened the scoring from long range. Matt Dufty picked up a loose ball and found Josh Thewlis who run away for the score.
Hull FC were left seeing double after Jake Thewlis was next to score. It was quick hands on the left and the winger strode over.
The visitors responded with some magic of their own. Aiden Sezer poked through then fired a pass to Harvey Baron to touch down.
Sezer went from architect to a try-scorer before the break. He sliced through again and held on to bring it back to 12-10.
The second half point scoring all went to the hosts. George Williams set up the field position before Sam Powell burrowed over for his 50###sup
Next, it was Lachlan Fitzgibbon who got on the scoresheet. Dufty broke through again and found the forward inside for 24-10.

Catalans Dragons won 32-0 against Huddersfield Giants down Stade Gilbert Brutus on Saturday evening.
The win breaks a streak of seven straight losses for the French side who sit ninth on the Super League ladder.
Catalans Dragons were the first side to score. Luke Keary provided a short pass for Leo Darrelatour to go over.
Both Dragons halves combined to put them up 12-0. Tyrone May kicked it low and Keary touched down.
Tommy Makinson piloted over a penalty to stretch it past two converted scores against a fellow struggler.
The Dragons extended their lead further before the break. Experienced fullback Sam Tomkins surged through a gap to make it 20-0.
They continued to breath fire in the second half. Clement Martin kicked for himself and took advantage of an air swing to score.
Alix Da Costa put the rubber stamp on the win late on. He spied a gap and deceived the markers to go over.
Catalans Dragons 32 Huddersfield Giants 0

Wigan Warriors won 26-20 against Castleford Tigers in their game at The Jungle on Saturday evening.
The Warriors remain right on the tail of leaders Hull KR in the chase for another League Leaders Shield.
Castleford Tigers got the home crowd going early. Daejarn Asi put the pass out wide for Will Tate to slide across the line.
Wigan fought back with a score of their own. Zach Eckersley flew down the wing before passing inside to Jai Field to score.
Buoyed by their score, Wigan pushed further ahead. Adam Keighran brushed off the defenders and rolled to the line for 12-4.
The Tigers needed some bite after the break and Asi provided it. He bumped off a defender and brought them back within two.
Asi had his fingerprints all over the Tigers points. He produced another superb pass this time for Sam Wood to put them ahead again.
Headed into the final fifteen minutes, Wigan retook the lead. Field looped a pass wide for Eckersley to shift inside and score.
Castleford snatched the lead back in the late stages. They swept it wide again and Tate dived over for his second.
Wigan tied the game up after some slick foot work from halfback Jack Farrimond drew a penalty then Keighran made it 20-all.
They weren't contend to take this to Golden Point. Field sliced through and stretched out before he slipped it to Liam Farrell to win for the Warriors.

St Helens won 58-0 against Salford Red Devils down at Totally Wicked Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Saints first score came from some trickery. Kyle Feldt snuck past the markers to slam the ball down.
St Helens were very positive in their ball movement early. Deon Cross poked through and offloaded to Owen Dagnall to dive over.
They were marched upfield from a penalty and took advantage. Tristan Sailor shovelled a pass wide to Feldt to collect a second.
Saints cut open the Red Devils again. A pass inside for Morgan Knowles saw the forward streak over for 20-0.
Some more slick work saw St Helens push further ahead. It was an interchange in the middle before Daryl Clark jogged to the line.
The hosts were trying out trick shots to entertain themselves. A low pass was toed ahead by Dagnall who chased it down for a score.
Headed to the hour mark, Saints were in full flow. They broke open Salford again and Sailor finished off the move for 38-0.
They were scoring so much Sailor handed one to a teammate. Feldt leapt high to take it, found Sailor who popped it to Jake Burns for his first of the season.
He burnt them again a few moments later. On last, Burns fooled the defense and got his second of the afternoon and raised the half century.
The points continued to flow for the Saints. Sailor went himself this time and added himself to the double trouble.
Feldt rounded off the win with a hat-trick. He linked up again with Sailor who floated a pass wide for the Australian to walk in for 58-0.
