Guttenbeil injury forces change to
Warriors line up

An ankle injury to Vodafone Warriors? second row forward Awen Guttenbeil has forced head coach Daniel Anderson to make changes for Saturday night?s game against the Panthers.

Guttenbeil suffered a high-ankle sprain during last Friday?s 10-18 loss to the Raiders and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Wairangi Koopu will start in the second row.

Guttenbeil?s absence poses a real challenge to the depth of the Warriors? forward pack already covering for the injured Ali Lauiti?iti and Richard Villasanti.

?Losing Awen is bad news, especially on the back of Clinton?s injury and it seems each week the average age of our team is getting younger,? said Anderson.

?Awen has been a force in both attack and defence so his absence will require adjustments to our game.?

Evarn Tuimavave returns to the interchange bench after recovering from a minor knee injury suffered during the Warriors? Round 9 victory over the Eels.
